I have a little tip. When you collect your cans, the first thing you should do is cut out a sheet of tin. This means cutting off the bottom and the top. This will make it thinner and easier to handle. Whenever you get a can do it and store it so next time you will need a circular piece, it will be easy for you

Wouldn't it have been easier just having the rough side up on the second part and then glue it like the fiirst one with the circle on top?

@MissCraftyhands I wouldn't suggest it because its using a layer of pop tabs and they will likely just pop off if you use hot glue and accidentally hit your ring against something
