They abide by NCAA rules. I played one year in the league when I was stationed in Germany (1988). At that time, a good 

5A high school team would probably be a pretty good match for them. The skill level of the players hadn't developed to the American level...just like Americans can't quite compete yet in soccer..but they're just as big, fast and strong!! Good athletes! A lot of fun, and made a lot of lifelong friends with my teammates.

Ich persönlich liebe diesen Sport, und noch viel mehr liebe ich die Kiel Baltic Hurricanes!

in europe i would say its most popular in germany austria and britain. NFL is big in britain and playing football is big in germany. I have not found any groups/bars/meetups/websites for nfl in germany but i have in britain. I know britain airs games i dunno about germany. In denmark they air 4 games a week and the fanbase is GROWING fast especially becos of Morten Andersen the record holding dane for most points in the NFL.

Football ist um einiges besser als Fußball. Ich spielte selber Fußball, wurde mir aber zu langweilig. Football ist der richtige Sport. Er fördert Koordination, Technik und das beste Teamgeist. Beim Fußball kriegt man nur beigebracht, wie man sich hinfallen lässt, oder aufs Tor schießt. Mehr macht man da nicht. Außerdem sind die meisten Footballer die besseren Athleten. Beim den Profis ist jeder QUarterback athletischer als jeder andere Fußballer.

ansonsten gibts auch viele fußballspieler die athletisch sind ! Is geschmackssache welchen sport man mag und welchen nicht....meiner meinung nach is football das geilste was es gibt !!!! die fußballer können sich weiter das knie halten wenn sie am arm verletzt werden ^^ - die werden sowieso nich richtige kerle werden die hemdchen!!!!

ganz ehrlich es stimmt Kiel hat ihren chancen nicht genutzt der eine Fumble war das Ende für Kiel das hätte nicht sein müssen ;D sie hätten gewonnen ... punktestand war als kiel vor der Endzone von Braunschweig stand 20:14 hätte Kiel die 10 Yards gepackt und in die Endzone gerannt, hätte sie wahrscheinlich auch das FieldGoal gepackt...endstand 20:21 wäre er dann gewesen...aber der fumble vor der Endzone und return von Braunschweig und der Traum war vorbei das Spiel endete 20:14 :D
