I'm confused. The KKK is a democratic organization formed after slavery was abolished to keep blacks from voting in the south. Stop making Republicans out to be racists, the party itself was founded in 1854 as an anti-slavery party and they wanted slavery abolished completely. I'm confused. The KKK is a democratic organization formed after slavery was abolished to keep blacks from voting in the south. Stop making Republicans out to be racists, the party itself was founded in 1854 as an anti-slavery party and they wanted slavery abolished completely.
