And of course the bailouts didn't work : the system stayed the same. If you look at capitalism, you'll realize that it is a system destroying itself and going crisis after crisis.
It is impossible to keep up capitalism. Why ? Because the boss tries to make the more plus-value off his employees. So he has to buy machinery for that and hire employees. If he wants to make plus-value, he got to pay them less but he also got to pay for his machinery so he must raise his prices. Capitalism is the idea of trying to give less money to people so they can buy your things at a higher cost. Does that make sense ? So, what happen ? Economical crisis.
The other part of this crisis is the false money that capitalism is creating and that leads to financial crisis periodically. You produce for 1M. You have to do 5M of research to produce for 2M so you got to borrow that money. People, then, buy a small part of your company and they give you 10 $. Then, they SPECULATE that your research is going well and that people will want to buy a part of your company and decide that the small part of your asset is now worth 15 $.
But if something goes wrong, they'll sell their part of the company, sometimes 13 $ and then 10 $ and then 8 $ and then 5 $ and now you start to owe them even more money, even if your production is still 1M. And the money you had just disappeared. And then comes along the banks, creating money every time you do a deposit of cash. Isn't that beautiful ? Try to look at what would happen to your so great capitalism if everybody go take out his money. This system relies on nothing but chimeras.

So people create money with stocks, etc. They buy debts, divide them, they buy stocks and divide them too and it always screw up. And as it goes there is no left wing in any sort of power in the USA. I would also like to mention that I think there are more individual freedoms in Europe than in the US. My experience of the USA although mainly positive was that it is verging on a police state. Quite scary.

If capitalism is so great, why not to apply it at it's full extent? (That being to let the economy as it is when it goes down). Profits are for the few and deficits for the many. well America does not have a true free market system. the government has a hand in everything. there is so much regulation, for enviromentalists, for unions, for the many gov bureaucracies, not that a little regulation isnt ok, but nowadays its out of hand. the federal reserve made banks give loans to people who could not afford them, saying that the fed would back them up. our economy collapsed because of the government. and just to let you know, the bailouts did not work. socialism doesnt work

It is impossible to keep up capitalism. Why ? Because the boss tries to make the more plus-value off his employees. So he has to buy machinery for that and hire employees. If he wants to make plus-value, he got to pay them less but he also got to pay for his machinery so he must raise his prices. Capitalism is the idea of trying to give less money to people so they can buy your things at a higher cost. Does that make sense ? So, what happen ? Economical crisis.

You have to do 5M of research to produce for 2M so you got to borrow that money. People, then, buy a small part of your company and they give you 10 $. Then, they SPECULATE that your research is going well and that people will want to buy a part of your company and decide that the small part of your asset is now worth 15 $.

Try to look at what would happen to your so great capitalism if everybody go take out his money. This system relies on nothing but chimeras.

all youve just done is give me a play by play of a stock market crash. ha which has happened only only a few times the worst in 1929. and the reason the market crashed is because investors borrowed money to make their investments and when the stocks went south they would have to pay the companies back. people lost their homes and other products trying to make a profit. the economy started going south and then finally the market crashed. what would you rather live in? a communist state?

Its how it works and this is why it doesn't work. There are not enough resources and tools of production to expand the market so people can do sufficient money. It's a fact. So people create money with stocks, etc. They buy debts, divide them, they buy stocks and divide them too and it always screw up. Speculative bubbles and it's the beginning of all the crashes and it's going to repeat itself. And, yes, I would rather live in a socialist country. Not communist because no government isn't good.
