I just got an ION set and bought an extra cymbal. I almost gold stared this song and had so much trouble with it on the crappy RB1 drums.

what do u have on ur drum sticks, grip tape ? ...and i dont no how ur pedal doesnt moves around, mine moves like crazy! maybe its just the i hit ?

I just bought these sticks at a music store and they just came with this plastic red grip on them. The pedal has Velcro on the bottom of it, which makes it stick to the floor. Quite useful!

Well, considering how often the bass pedal is repeated, bouncing really helps you keep your rhythm in this song.

can you give me some tips on how to do such great kick pedal work? I can do songs with double kick pedal or tricky kick pedal placement with ease..but when it comes to constant kick pedal in a row such as in My Hero my foot just cant keep up and i get way too tired. Wonderful job btw. couldnt have done it any better.

I'm using the pedal that comes with the ion drum kit although I have heard that the Destroyer pedal is excellent and I will probably buy it once my summer job starts.

Another tip I could give is to give yourself some elevation compared to the drum kit. Don't be afraid to add some cushions to your seat or to change the height of your drum kit.

Tell me how that works out.

I dont know if it is the surface i use it on but i find it moves far too much. I also think it could use a lot more tension. It is good if you use heel toe which i don't. I think it's better than the rb2 stock but definently not worth 80$.

u can get it on sale, my friend got it for $50, and the tension is adjustable.

That part isn't hard, I can hit that. and I didn't mean to skip the fill.....I just wasn't sure if I needed to cause I saw a blank in notes then realized I wasn't supposed to. besides, hitting the double yellow is more difficult to me then 2:58 easy roll. Nice job :) and as for your description....NOBODY is better than Someguy913.

Yeah, when I see a pattern like the one you find difficult, I do the left stick for the red and two very quick right sticks on the yellow with the pedal right after.

I find Jellybeanman0925 to be a very underrated drummer. He full combo-ed Teen Age Riot.

I'd say to practice other songs that use heavier bass pedal before trying that one again if you're having difficulty.

I still remember the first time I ever played Rock Band. A rickety version of In Bloom on Medium. Things have changed! :P
