Jacks gesture in bringing Donald and Watson and the caddies to stand with him on the bridge - to share the moment, is typical of the man. Tom Watson said he could hardly play his second shot as his eyes were so filled with tears.
The irony....The posing for pictures on the Swilcan Bridge that was made with stone centuries ago.....Luke Donald (now # 1 in the world), Tom Watson (one of Jack's closest competitors, and best friends)...and of course, the Greatest Golfer the Game as ever known Jack Nicklaus.......The torch was passed that day at The Home of Golf.
With all due respect, Jack Nicklaus will live on long after he's gone...

Luke Donald was probably thinking, "What in the hell am I doing up here?" or "I'll never do anything cooler in my life.". Probably both.
