  • Yes. However overall height needs to be within laws and clearances.

  • can you leave bins on the tipers when the extra piece is in the up position?

  • Trashman242, the TG1000 works on most deomestic tailgates. The key is the slide rail. The slide rails are specific to the certain tailgates. In fact, the TG1000 works on Euorpean and UK tailgates as well. As for the lids, they will not be damaged from the blade due to the angle and height of the cart and the packer blade operation. Perkins Mfg. has been in the refuse industry for over 35 years. We work closely with most of the body OE's when developing products.

  • Looks like it can only be used on Mcneilus for the rolling track thing. Bet it wouldn't work on a Loadmaster, for instance. The tailgate isn't nearly as rounded.

Sure, the packer won't strike the bin as long as the can's lid is opened first.

    Interesting idea though...

  • So this what if you want to use the winch to dump a large can?

  • There are two points on each side of the TG1000 that secures it in the upright position. The cable/hook is then removed for dumping.
