okay, seriously. how the hell did he get that little battle plane to attack his cycle twice in a row? The AI is smarter than to leave it in range for an assault from an AA. every time, it goes for the blue AA for me.

This battle isn't really THAT bad, it's just very tough to make a solid strategy against. Generally, I suggest air-choking Waylon by simply not using your airports while pumping AA's into the area surrounding the center. It might also be a good idea to push Mechs into the central area (mainly to deal with early tanks), especially if you can get a mobile CO (Will) unit. The most troublesome thing about the battle is that initially Waylon has all of the production power, and Bombers to boot.

Easy Win:Spam Tanks And AA'S On Each Side.Then Push about half of each side into the middle.Slowly Push all units on all 3 sides through to Waylon's Side.Pwned.

This is the first time I've ever had to use a walkthrough to beat a level in an Advanced Wars game. Although I'm not really upset about it, I'm glad they made the game hard as hell.

a great strategy on this, since it is extremely backbreaking, is send in a small squad of units to the south east mountain area, where it allows one units to go at once, get infantry and mech units there and some tanks and AA to distract, while you take a main party or bombers, and AA and md tanks right thru the mid. stage all units in the center. go S rank using moves from this til day 10 i think

Man, no matter how many times i do day 3, the bike either ends up with 2 hp instead of 3 or my missile is attacked instead of the bike.

yep duels strike and days of ruin are great i have them both and their both good but i dont think the 2 games are linked because duel strike has a completly diffrent story line and is left open i havent finished days of ruin but i have finished duel strike their both good i give dem 8/10

at 1:27 to 1:28 when the duster hits the bike leaveig it for 3 health...i cant get to that part! the duster keeps hitting tasha's missles. im really annoyed

Go for days of Ruin, the grimdark approach is far easier to swallow then the infuriatingly awful dialogue and excessively childish nature of Duel Strike.

Save the game after each turn, if the computer doesn't move the exact same way as on the screen, load the level and have the computer take their turn again. Keep doing it until it turns out right (it'll take a while but at least it will work).

I'm not very good at the game yet because I just got it the other day, but on missions, if you get into a really good position, you can save, then just load again if it doesn't work out how you want.

I think i can win after 36 days (I got 24 building while he got only 14 and I hold the 3 chokes) but I finally lose at 48 days (he killed the remaining blue army)

I can't believe your Lazurian units aren't retarded. I got an S on this mission by shooting down his bomber, dusters, and copters first, then progressively backing him up with Rockets. Took me about 25 days, but it sure felt good to kick Waylon's ass.

In the 3rd day the duster doesn't attack to the capturing bike, it always attacks to the blue missile! Can anybody help me?

I took 34 days (in the game), and an hour (in real life) to beat this mission...

I got a [S] Rank with 300 points. At the beginning, the mission looks hard, but, if you don´t lose the center area, the victory is practically yours.

I cover up the anti air 1st with the predeployed infantry and bike.then the bomber will attack the bike next turn i get to attk the bomber...if u noticed the bomber at the starting is causing ur lose.(and i didnt let them TAKE CONTROL OF THE CENTER

Wow! Getting an S rank on this mission! The way I beat this mission is sending in a continous stream of mech from the top and battle copters from the forward center airport. Mostly mech from the other factory, but throw in some anti-airs and wartanks.

Beware! My strategy takes a LONG time.

im following his moves exactly, but on day 3 waylon's duster on the bottom keeps hitting my bike unit for 5 leaving it with 2 hp instead of 3 hp like it does in his vid, i keep reloading till it happens, but so far no luck, most of the time the duster hits the blue missile but when he hits me he does too much damage :@
