  • my computer :D

  • i7 technology alone will run pretty close to $800 and thats with the 2.66Ghz processor, just for the motherboard processor and ram, my system is gonna run me just under $2300 and thats with some cheap shit lol. my set up is the i7 intel motherboard, i7 3.2 Ghz processor, i'll have 6GB ram windows 7 ultimate, oh the processor i got is cheaper butdoesn't come with any heat sink so i had to purchase a seperate one i got one i can use to overclock with, and the ATI 5870 i think it was.

  • "dead on arrival"...

doesn't that sound like a heavy metal band?

  • a similar part brock in my pentem 3, but it was not so serios.

  • ACER ASPIRE PREDATOR!!! BEAST!

  • yea man, acer aspire is amazing, but not very good when it comes to super computers

  • ALIENWARE!!!

  • look at vigor gaming. they have some really nice setups that you can customize. The Delta Force and Force Recon models will be your best option

  • Wow it blew up?...I would look at Alienware..Their prices went down actually.

  • haha

That's why I went straight to alienware!!

  • alienware is a waste

  • loooool

  • alienware = fail, build everything yourself unless ur a dumb ass

  • I'd say it's the other way around...

That way, if you mess it up, al least you've got somewhere to go... PLUS, they know what they're doing, so I'd rather someone with experience build my PC than try it myself and just waste a load of money.... :)

  • i know how to build PCs im not gona complain

  • lucky you!! (no sarcasm implied) :)

I would actually mess it up, so... well yeah :P

  • pwned, youre to0 dumb

  • Get an hp elite, but there $2000, had intel quad core 2 with nvidia 9800gtx, brings 750GB hard drive, and a bunch of other stuff... but its good.

  • Don't go with pre build, just cause you had a bad experience doesn't mean building computers is dangerous cause it really isn't. Dell yeah you can get a i7 for a decent price, but not being allowed to overclock it is really a waste of money since i7 are made to be overclocked.

  • L0L IT WAS ON FIRE!!!

  • Go to Dell where you can find a few i7 Pcs and you can also customize them!

  • Acer ASPRIE M5100

its wanderfull i got mine for £300!

  • hey man u should get the acer predator the only problem is the price the cheapest ive seen on the net brand new is about $2000 but if you buy them over here in aus in the shops there about $4000-$6000 so it is a big save if you buy over the net.

  • i'd still recommend you to buy it; although as many people have stated already, the dell studio xps would allow you to get an i7 under 1000 (of course w/o monitors)

i've built 6 computers (mostly for my friends) and have never experienced any problems so far...

  • edit: meant to say "i'd still recommend you to build it"

  • did you buy a chinese power supply?, in my recent experience i have blown a hard drive, and the power supply itself. POP and a big puff of smoke. did you know the chinese invented the first fireworks? I wouldnt give up on building it yourself. I am 14 and i built an EVGA 790i ultra sli, core 2 quad q8400 @3.4 ghz, My shitty sparkle 9600gt, W.D 7200 rpm 600 gig h.d, 2 gigs of ddr3 2000mhz ram, and a 550 watt thermaltake psu.

  • no way to find an i7 of 1000$

  • no u can. dell has a studio that's about $800 i think, but it doesn't come with a monitor.

  • There is no f'ing way you are getting a 1000 computer with an i7

  • I would still recommend building your own, you're going to be saving half of the cost of a pre-built PC. Sure you may have had a bad experience, but it looks like it was just a bad batch of motherboards, nothing else. I would recommend a Core i7 compatible motherboard, the Core i7 920 from MicroCenter ($199.99). I hope you live near one, because the deal doesn't exist for online orders. In any case, don't shoot yourself in the foot and purchase a pre-built one.

  • dell xps ther good i heard thay have systems with i7 quads for around $1700 and of corse the other fast stuff in it

  • My own recommendation is maybe a Evga E758 A1, paired with a Core i7 920, and 6gb Corsair xms3 memory, and a Zalman 9700 cooler. With this cooler you can get it up to about 3.5 GHZ. Use Artic Silver thermal paste. You may want to rethink your power supply. I only use either Silverstone, DA series, or Pcpowerandcooling power supplies. Also noteworthy are Corsair power supplies.

  • strongly reccomend it

  • I have a dell xps 720 that i bought at best buy for $999.99, it is a great computer, and runs fsx like a dream. These are the spec: 4gb ddr3 ram, 1TB HDD, HD Radeon 4850(but i got a 9800gtx+ 1gb for it) intel core i7 extreme, and many other goodies. It is a very reliable computer, and i stro

  • buy a computer an customize it on-line. Putting computers together causes problems like this one. if you have to money I would recommend the DELL XPS. Its a great gaming computer

  • ibuy power or uh theres a gateway fx computer that bestbuy sells thats pretty beast

  • Probally Dell is your best bet! DO NOT USE MAC!

  • I highly recommend Dells

    you can get a 12gb ddr2 for under $1200

  • I think the HP Elite is pretty good. for 899 u get core i7 920, 6gb of dd3 and a pretty decent video card.

  • I would go with Dell, BUT if you dont, DO NOT USE MAC, and you can go to Radio Shack or Sears and pick your parts to build you computer- but they put it together for you.

  • buy the best alien ware CP and it`s $10,000

  • gateway lx Computer

  • Thanks! Now I know to get my products from NewEgg or whatever its called.

  • Should have bought better components, all my newegg items work great.

  • I knew it, didn't I tell you, I said hopefully none of the parts were lemons, lol.

  • man sorry...
