For those of you that know any XFL history, Jeff Brohm would famously be laid out again when he played for the Rage. Poor guy took got his lights turned out literally for 2 decades.
I really wish someone would post a highlight of Heath Shuler's career at Tennessee. He was one of my favorite players of all time. I always like the mobile QBs.
As a Vandy fan, I'll always hate the UT program but they've had a number of players over the years that I really liked to watch play. Heath Shuler was a beast. He was Tebow before there was Tebow.
@volswaff He was a beast. And I'll always wish he'd stayed one more year, rather than get drafted by the Redskins right at the time they became a laughingstock. If he'd gotten with a decent organization, I believe he'd still be a football player, not a Congressman.
I was at this game. You would not -believe- how cold it was that day. About 20 degrees, maybe colder. We froze. Scalpers tickets were going for $5 because it was televised and many folks elected to watch it on TV.
Same here, Jenkins ended up being a solid corner. Interesting group of WR on this team. Faulkner was not incredibly gifted but he was productive. Fleming was a converted QB who morphed into a pretty good WR. Mose was a former RB. Overall a solid group.
Another great vid. Jenkins was definately "jacked up" on the interception return. Shuler was so athletic and Garner was a punishing runner with great moves.

I was a huge Heath Shuler fan growing up. I love these old clips. Anyone know where I can buy footage of 92-93 tennessee football games?
