@rallyf1 well, yes, but also if that wasnt there, other flying debris from the impact with out the cushion could also go flying... so what would you rather, a piece of plastic or shards of glass and metal... :)

@sshapewa I always thought about the possibility to know if there is a car behind a corner or a curve when i'm going fast on a road... a stupid radio signal could tell you that .. for example if car is stopped for an accidend that you can't know, it can help you, so maybe you go a little slower -- it seems we prefere to wait for some more deaths
