My fastest "Proper" lap was a 1:09:008 but when I load the track it says that my record is 7 seconds lol. All I did was start a flying lap. then drive into pits and go into garage, then drive out again and it counted the time from the pit box to the pit exit line as my time lol.

My best is a 1:13.803 but I was on for about a 1:13.3 until i span for no apparant reason, i wasn't going too fast, i was on the racing line, didn't catch a curb or barrier (quite) and didn't turn in too much. If you can think of another reason then please tell me?

What...? F1 games aren't rated on graphics and shininess. It's about realism and simulation - that's why F1 99-02 is still the king of racing sims, because newer games have sacrificed realism and driving for shiny tracks and damage.

Difficulty on hard, I'm a second a lap quicker than the rest on most circuits, and then come the Japanese GP and I'm a second a lap off the pace. I know the racing line like the back of my hand, so it must be a set up problem. Can anyone help?

the best way i do to beat the CPU cars at Suzuka is to go extremely fast in sectors 1 and 3. i always notice that the CPU cars somehow beat my timing in sector 2 by over a second.

i set my car more towards torque(better accel.) and grip(lower top speed). this way, i get a faster exit and need not brake through the 'S-curves'.

what you do is put camber about -0.5 degrees 4 both rear and front tyres, 14 percent downforce on front and rear wings, now underneath the camber setting, u can set up the ride height e.t.c, you put the ride height either full maximum or the complete minimum, wichever 1 u like, and everything else underneath the ride height setting you put them 2 the complete minimum aswell so those bars should all be empty unless u want ride height 2 b full

i managed to get in the 1 minute 30 range i cnt memba the exact time but ill help you with the track, 1st corner, full throttle, 3rd corner full throttle, 4th corner shift down 1 gear, 5th corner shift down 1 more gear, 6th corner shift 1 or 2 gears, ur choice, after you finish the s curves, thers a quik corner, shift down 1 gear and use all the track and also remember this, the setup i gave you, the back end will slide out on the 1st of the 2 corners at the spoon curve

you over commited on some corner which cost you time. i also notice your biggest problem was that you dont use all of the exit in the first chicane. not to mention you use the ripple strips in some area abit to much..realistically, if you had of been that agressive with the ripple strips in a real car. ud had kissed the barrier. all in all it was gd. i also sore you hit the wall with ur right tyre on the exit near the end of one of ur laps. thats what im talking about with over comitting. but gd

Iv'e watched your video very closely, just so u know ive won every race in f106 on the hardest difficulty. yes that inludes catalunya, indianapolis and suzuka. which are made very hard in this game. monaco is a very technical track..that is very awareding if you can finish in first and at the same time finish without a nose cone flailing about all over the place. anyway i'll get right down to it. you over committed and under commited on a few corners. the chicane on ur first lap you didnt youse

Dude thats wicked racing... It all comes down to set up.. With the standard, you can only get between 13.500 upwards. BUt if you can figure out how to customise supreme setup? You obviously can go below standard/realistic laps times.. But you definately can drive the game!! Be good if you can put more tracks up and times as I will be putting some up of my own soon. I have no knowledge of how to customise setup so I'll just put races and times of standard setup.

I love this game but im having alot of troible with the car set ups, on all the tracks. Think my fastest lap of Monaco is like a Late 1 minute 13, plus for instance say Silverstone, on medium setting in a super aguri, the qualifying time is 1 min 23, and i can only manage a 1 min 27.
