the way this series is directed reminds me so much of HZGG I and II

Qiong Yao is definitely THEE most amazing writer, producer, and director. All of her stories and series became famous. anyone who's been chosen by her becomes stars overnight. this was Qin Lan's second time working with her... and she was absolutely breath taking in her role. her role was the hardest to play.

@kutijenn : In fact, I always felt it's the Korean drama that copying Qiong Yao...

Since more than 10-20+ years ago, Qiong Yao already written novels (convert to movies/dramas) that make people cried like nobody business. So I think the Koreans should learn more from Qiong Yao... And I have no idea why the Taiwanese *love* the Koreans so much when they got their own Qiong Yao. =)

first time i watched such a dramatic n emotional series without hating any of the characters. LOL i liked all of them... and wanted them all to end up with a happily ever after. the sister might have became evil for awhile but that's what made the drama fun to watch. and the sister was stuck between love and hate... so that made me pity her instead of disliking her. the younger sister played the happy scenes very well. the crying ones was a bit off sometimes... but she was still cute to watch.
