I've been playing this sort of music on the recorder for nearly 40 years, and I have to say this was pretty darn good! A little sloppy perhaps, but at her age that's forgivable. I hope she is learning to play classical recorder music as well! If she is disciplined and self-motivated and having fun (and not just being pushed into this by her parents), she could end up as another Michala Petri. (Or if she sticks to folk tunes, maybe another Mary Bergin).
