If your son was murdered or missing, and you seen a muddy, bloody, man stumbling out of the woods around the area they went missing, before you had found them, would you not call the police? Of course you would call them.... but not Hobbs... He HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE!

I love how he claims he never met Mark Byers until the day their boys had disappeared. How is this possible. The majoirty of parents I know have met the parents of their kids friends. @paulamc1977 The thing is Hobbs said he NEVER saw those kids that day, but neighbors now came forward sayin that they saw him with the 3 boys that day. They thought the police new but now they know that Hobbs was not questioned till now. Plus his sister in law saw him doing laundry that day like sheets and curtains. He also never told Pam that Stevie was missing till he picked her up from work. Then his DNA at the scene. Yet the 3 are in prision with NO evdience to convict them.

It was found IN THE KNOT of the ligature shoestring used to tie up one of the victims. How the fuck can that be explained. Plus... there are 3 witnesses that called the police back in '94 that said they saw the boys with Hobbs around 4 p.m. that day.

At least Byers was at every single hearing that ever took place. He might be a little odd but I don't think he hurt those boys. Terry Hobbs wasn't even interviewed at the time. I would probably think it was strange if my child was found murdered and the police never even bother to ask me a single question about what I was doing at the time. If he had been questioned then I wander if the outcome would have been different.

@yellowrose011 Hobbs doesn't have any motives though, I think a disarrayed drifter with mud on his shoes and blood dripping from his forearm would be the culprit. If the detective had'nt lost the blood sample from Bojangles, the blood probably belonged to one of the boys, then all the manager of the restaurant would have to do is give a decent discription. The drifter is probably eating a possum on a railroad track three states over, 3 innocent kids sit in jail wasting 1/3 of their life away

I just listened to a tape recorded phone conversation between Byers and Hobbs and neither of them sound like parent who lost kids. Instead they spend the entire conversation talking about their innocence and sharing bible verses designed to comfort the persecuted. There was a time when Byers was considered a more viable suspect than Damien, Jason & Jessie, but the same DNA that clears the WM3 (from May 2007) also cleared Byers. Notably, in spite of his statements in Paradise Lost I & II, Mark Byers is now a vocal support of the WM3 and has publicly called for a new trial.
