I feel bad for saying this, but I actually prefer Gameboy Color over Classic here. The screen on the classic one is just too small for me, in my opinion, and when I played on my friend's it just seemed kind of overwhelmingly large. I found a good one for 30 - 50 bucks on eBay, with two GREAT games, the handbook, the charger, and a few other things. Should I get the Gameboy Classic or should I find a Gameboy Color? ;_;

Back in the day, I used drool over these. Eventually, I did get one. My cousin gave it to me. Screen had black lines all over but I didnt care.

Interesting video though, I didn't know the original gameboy had a contrast dial or earphones came with it or the cartridges got locked in like that. (I wondered why it had that notch.)

You can not press up so that the blocks fall faster. The original Tetris did not have that function

this is really great quality. i have got the same original earphones (0:53). they even have stereosound with a very good sound quality and so i´m still using them for playing computer games although they are about 20 years old - but they are still functioning perfectly. good old technology!

music on a gameboy is in general a horrific experience, beyond all doubts if you actually played a gameboy. The level of unsophistication when it comes to sound is just to much to take really, you are trying to like it but the more you listen to it, the more you hate yourself for trying to.
