Shotguns? LOL! Where did you pull that nonsense out of? Your arse? Not true production for .22 ammo through out history had far exceeded that of the shotgun and every other caliber for that matter, billions (6-7 billion) are produced each year. So it's only natural that more accidents and or incidents have happened due to its popularity and availability.
Put the aguila in a bowl and give them a squirt of CLP or wd40 and toss. They dont cycle well in my mosquito and do the same thing. With a bit of lube they cycle great.
hope you realize you just did an illegal transfer of an nfa controlled firearm by letting your son shoot that. unless of course you did an nfa trust or are one of the various ffl's
everyone on here is full of shit. in most states the only thing you need to get a suppressor is a 200 dollar tax stamp. and for full auto, its a tax stamp and background check, you also have to get finger printed but thats it.
it will pass through a 2x4 at 50 feet from a 6" barrel.
cycles everytime suppressed or not.
it drops like a rock because it is extremely heavy but its an awesome round.
also try the colibri 0 grain (only primer powered) it doesn't have a hell of a lot of terminal characteristics but it does the job at point blank range and it makes a click when suppressed.
@XxXTheBoxerXxX Doesnt seem overboard I had a friend who liked to plink with his for competition and he had a low power scope on his and had done alot of stuff to the trigger .22's are good little competition guns
no it counts as a class 3 item.. you just have to pay a tax stamp on it. or you can set up a trust with a lawyer (bout 200-300 dolars in Fl) and buy it with the trust..
MY wife and I are working on a joint trust because I want one but still want her to be able to fire it if she wants to go to the range.
I HAVE CREATED THE ONLY RELIABLE FULL-AUTO RUGER 10/22 .22LR SUB MACHINE GUN ON THIS EARTH. We are living in the 'golden age' of firearm design & modification. Look at this wild thing on my YouTube video. I sell a DVD video that explains an easy way to convert the semi-auto RUGER 10/22 .22LR rifle into a true full-auto. *All other full-auto RUGER 10/22 conversions are not reliable! Mine has been proof tested with no malfunctions.
Some states do require a tax and a waiting period on a suppressor in the U.S. They also require several papers to be filled out and this paperwork is given to local police as a way of tracking what suppressors are in the state. You can get serious jail time if you get caught with the hardware without the tax paid and proper paperwork filled out. Be careful about that.
if everybody that knows how to buy a MG tells people that it is impossible to buy one on youtube, the prices will go down. Also silencers are illegal for COD civies.
it's not a permit. you need to find a Class 3 dealer. you fill out the ATF Form 4, get the fingerprints, get the photos, fill out the statement of compliance, have the local CLEO sign the Form 4 and SOC, send it off to ATF, pay the $200 tax stamp per item, get the tax stamp, pay the transfer fee and they are yours. the problem i'm running into is the the local sheriff and police chief will not sign these. there is a legal way around this, but i will not discuss it here.

No, you do not. There are only two requirements. First, that it is legal to own a silencer in your state. If it is, then all you have to do is pay the NFA tax stamp. No licences or permits are required.
These guns are very, VERY picky about the ammo used in them. You have to use the CCI Mini Mags and no hollow points. It took me a while to find this out by sending my gun into S&W more than once.
Also for those who don't know it...your Walther's are covered by a lifetime warranty for problems!
And if you have a problem just call S&W (who bought out Walther) and they will take good care of you...they did me. :)
PS. Veridian Green Laser sights are the only way to go. Easily seen in daylight!
Have you tried getting a softer recoil spring for when you use the subsonic rounds? It will reduce the amount of force needed to make the gun properly recoil, but will wear out much faster if you use the stander strength rounds.
Sorry, the last time I check the spring was active for the longest duration of the firing phase. It also has a different tensile strength than the parts that experience 'impact'.
And you know what, in my several years of servicing firearms in the military, I find its usually the magazine spring, and the trigger guard that gets broken the most. I don't quite recall any civilian people bothering to replace the 'impact' parts, well ever. And makes it the tell on how 'used' the gun is.
Anyone that is a Walther dealer is likely to either have a softer recoil spring in stock, or is able to order one. The part isn't widely on the market due to the current cost of actually owning a suppressor. You are looking for something that will allow the gun to cycle with half of the joules involved.
@bagelboi53 ya, ive found some places that have the rounds for almost 2 cents each! even though its a .22, the gun's so small that it seems like its a bigger round and sounds a lot louder than most 22's!
bb gun??? not very loud even with a silencer but look at his recoil a couple times it almost looks like the gun recoil happens b4 he shoots it weird O.☺
It's called first round pop. I believe it's caused by the initial consumption of oxygen with the first discharge of the firearm, whereupon the oxygen is depleted within the suppressor, making subsequent shots significantly quieter. Thats why it sounded louder the first shot
I don't mean to be a critic but is that scope/red dot necessary for a handgun. Not only a handgun but a silenced .22 lollll. Still a very cool weapon but a little to extreme for its self.
most sub sonic ammo just use a heavier bullet so it still has the same power but can't get the round going fast enough, using the same grain bullet they must cut down on powder, and apparently its a little too much scrimping for this particular handgun.
@MrFSXguy the ammo that he is using is not powerful enough to rack the slide completely so does not load a new round thus making him fire the gun blank and then he has to manually rack the slide to load a fresh round
omgz0r, Bullets at Wallmart? The Americans sale everything to everyone. Buy a Jack Daniels, get a gun for free! No wonder they have so many murderers... =/
zeldaman2008 you are a dumbass. The .22 is a more than capable round and also makes a very distinct crack. Its not a quiet round at all. Suppressors are a perfect fit for the .22
This suppressor is too loud for a .22. SInce a .22 bullet does NOT go supersonic in a barrel this short, what we hear is a failure of the can to deal with the muzzle blast. Not uncommon for the Gemtec, keep trying other cans and you will see a huge difference.
Way too loud for a .22 suppressor. Out of a pistol barrel a .22 does not go anywhere near supersonic, what we are hearing is a failure of the Gemtec to properly deal with the muzzle blast. Not uncommon for a Gemtec, they are comparatively LOUD. I avoid them entirely.

it's not a permit. you need to find a Class 3 dealer. you fill out the ATF Form 4, get the fingerprints, get the photos, fill out the statement of compliance, have the local CLEO sign the Form 4 and SOC, send it off to ATF, pay the $200 tax stamp per item, get the tax stamp, pay the transfer fee and they are yours. the problem i'm running into is the the local sheriff and police chief will not sign these. there is a legal way around this, but i will not discuss it here.

Have you tried getting a softer recoil spring for when you use the subsonic rounds? It will reduce the amount of force needed to make the gun properly recoil, but will wear out much faster if you use the stander strength rounds.
SinfulWarth 1 year ago 7
@SinfulWarth Probably worth a try!
1dante2 1 year ago 11
@SinfulWarth im looking for a softer recoil spring also, where could i find one?
nitrouscobalt 1 year ago
@SinfulWarth
a decreased rate spring will not "wear out faster" while being used with standard velocity ammo.
the reciprocating assemblies and impact points of the weapon will be subjected to higher impact levels and wear accordingly.
when you don't know what the fuck you're talking about don't just blurt out the 1st stupid thing that comes to you.
wait a minute and blurt out the 2nd or 3rd stupid thing that comes to you.
it might have a higher entertainment value for us.
idiot.
tapper45 10 months ago

Sorry, the last time I check the spring was active for the longest duration of the firing phase. It also has a different tensile strength than the parts that experience 'impact'.

I don't quite recall any civilian people bothering to replace the 'impact' parts, well ever. And makes it the tell on how 'used' the gun is.
SinfulWarth 10 months ago
@SinfulWarth
i have been in the Army firing (and fixing) guns longer than you have been alive.
the magazine spring and the trigger guard experience zero impact from recoil spring swaps.
they receive zero impact from use with the stock spring.
did you write your whole post specifically so you could include the words "tensile strength"?
did you think it would make you appear intelligent?
you should run these ideas past your parents to see what they think before you just start posting stuff.

most sub sonic ammo just use a heavier bullet so it still has the same power but can't get the round going fast enough, using the same grain bullet they must cut down on powder, and apparently its a little too much scrimping for this particular handgun.

@MrFSXguy looks to me like there wasnt a bullet chambered which seemed tohappen alot for that guy
Xunethqualn 1 year ago
@MrFSXguy the ammo that he is using is not powerful enough to rack the slide completely so does not load a new round thus making him fire the gun blank and then he has to manually rack the slide to load a fresh round

zeldaman2008 you are a dumbass. The .22 is a more than capable round and also makes a very distinct crack. Its not a quiet round at all. Suppressors are a perfect fit for the .22

do you need an adapter for this suppressor??
nyyfans3 1 year ago
