I muste eateth the syllabub now! Gode speed with more olde musicke! Methinks it improveth the qualitie of You Tube!

    Thy trustie servant,

    R.Searle.

  • Thanks Searle8! I'll see what I can come up with in the future!

  • Er...ahh...don't you mean the past LOL

    Aloha,

    Thomas

  • HA! Merkwürdig und gut zugleich°!

  • Guten tag, Torrquerrone78. Danke fürs besuchen und Auslegung. 8-)

  • Highly entertaining. Thank you.

  • Thanks Grumpy! The Mediæval Period's been interesting to me for a long time. I enjoyed having some fun with it! 8-)

  • brilliant! i like the medieval time the most i like this video ^^ keep up the good work

  • Thanks Metalsaint! I find the Mediæval Period to be most interesting as well. 8-)

  • geniale!bravo!

  • Thanks ivmar1. I'm happy to have you stop by. 8-)

  • Hiya Diesel, absolutely brilliant, now i know what youve been up to whilst i've been away !

you look good in chain mail, not sure about the glasses though ! :-) did they have them back then !

  • Hi Baz! The spectacles were a little known luxury back then. Only members of the Bodine Clan had access to them. While wearing them, the Bodines could better see their computer monitors. They liked going on eBay to find deals on armour, swords, clubs, and other necessities. 8-)

  • I liked the "He's mine" bit. Hmmm... makes me wonder what you got for Christmas. Good mix of visuals, humor and spectacle sounding music. Was this a theme song for some noble? Everyone else was working in the feudal system - an old form of capitalism before credit cards. Thank goodness for the Dutch traders.

  • Hi Laurence... I think this song was written for religious pilgrims, though it sounds more like fun music than sacred music.

  • Great video Deisel, but some of your castles are not medieval. You like it where I live lots of castles (old ones) stately homes and even a Work House.

  • Hi Andy! I wouldn't argue with one who lives in such an ancient place as England. It must be too cool to have such historical things all about you. Maybe someday, I'll get to visit Europe and live out my fantasy of exploration.

  • Nyuk nyuk nyuk. I liked the clown. Lately I've been checking out the medieval period myself and think it's rather interesting. Nice video :)

  • Hi Pat... I love studying History and reading the accounts of people who wrote during their respective time periods. Check out a book called, "Eyewitness To History," if you'd enjoy reading some of these accounts for yourself. Glad to have you stop by! 8-)

  • now thats what I call art

  • Glad you liked it, dmio2! I hope you're having a great New Years! Thanks! 8-)

  • That's fabulous. :) It reminds me of Captain Pugwash and Noggin the Nog, which you've probably never heard of, but are wonderful, yes along with Python. Subbed. Thank you.

  • Thanks a bunch, Loreleila! No, I'm not familiar with those two characters you've mentioned, but they sound like a couple of fun individuals. 8-)

  • Diesel you don't know what you've missed. Noggin the Nog is a great British Tradition. A brilliant (but cheaply made) Uk childrens program that kind of parodies the Vikings/Danes. It has to be seen to be belived. Loreleila is right I thought the same thing. 5*

  • NO!... He's Mine! ;O)

The graphics are great, the theme fantastic and composition clever. I like the 'diabla in musica' balanced with humor, LOL! This brings back memories of Monty Python's The Life of Brian - a cathartic movie for me.

"We've come a long way, baby". The vastness of your creativity compels me and fills me with inspiration.

  • Hi Deb! Thanks for the nice comments! Let me sing you a song. Check out my newest video, "Unforgettable." 8-)

  • Ah. One of my secret pleasures. Mediaeval music. Love it.

  • Hello Pino! I love the raucous Mediæval tunes the best... you know the drinking and party tunes they had! It's cool to hear you like the stuff as well! 8-)

  • :-)

  • Haha cool video Scott! ive actually been to a medieavel reanactment in a place called York near where i live, was fun! I got to beat the Jester..lol..Hope u had a good Xmas and have a great NewYear! ..Sir Diesel Bodine!! lol xx

  • Hello Lady HeavenSlut... I mean Nina! A Mediæval re-enactment sounds like lots of fun! You have yourself a great New Years, too! 8-)

  • Me thought you plays JazzTune instead "Knight in Armour" with Medieval music, take you very good Sir the Armour, maybe a little heavy but anyway me enjoy this Video very Much, very nice to see a Knight with eye glasses, this the first time me see that.Let's say you look like intellectual Knight, greets Vic.

  • Hi Victor! Well, I do some Jazz, too, sometimes... I just uploaded "Unforgettable," the ol' Nat King Cole tune. It's just a vocal/guitar video... no arrangement, but I'm glad you liked my Mediæval video! 8-)

  • There's an absolutely fantastic (best history I've ever encountered) book on the ending of the middle ages, if I can only remember the author XD

Wonderful as always, Scott. Do I really need to say it anymore? :P

  • Why thanks, you whipper-snapper! Ah, yes, books on the Middle Ages! They make for some fine reading! 8-)

  • I'm so bad. I hardly comment on your videos anymore, but I do enjoy them!

  • Hi mwest... if all the good people like yourself stop visiting my videos, I'll be driven off of YouTube. I'll have to take up a new hobby... like stamp collecting or bingo. LOL! I'm just happy you get around to see what I've been working on when you're able to find the time! 8-)

  • Diesel...You're my knight in shining armor :-)

  • Glad to hear that, Truman... now get out in the kitchen and make this knight some breakfast! Ha-ha! LMAO & 8-P

  • Me like video, me like arrangement. Fire bad water good, me likey!!

  • Your Excellency, Sire Napoleon... me gladst thou liketh. 8-)

  • you welcome sir homie. kep jamn'. aight, peace out.

  • Did thou makest this melody? Tis a most pleasant sound and mine eyes were pleased tween the wondrous colors and moods my friend and Lord Diesel did thoust make. Surely tis worthy of play in royal court and five heaven's stars.

  • Hi Rhonda! I didn't invent the melody, but I arranged the music of this piece from 1,000 years ago.

    Long live "The Dark Ages!"

Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah! LOL & 8-)

  • Diesel it was awesome. I almost thought the cats were mine in the beginning. :)

  • Nice one! I love it! I've always loved movies in the medieval age and this song would fit perfectly in one of them! Happy 2008 Scott!

  • Thanks Felix. This song was originally composed around 1,000 years ago! I first heard it on a Mediæval Music CD I bought. I liked it so much, I couldn't resist making my own arrangement and doing a video. I actually first used this music on my video "Stella Splendens" 10 months ago, but thought it would be fun to make another video and throw in some wacky visuals as well.

  • Yes, i guess 10 months i didn't knew you! This way i could enjoy this song!

  • You are amazing dude, I like it.

    You always surprise me

  • Thanks lasz... I appreciate your opinion! 8-)

  • Forsooth! A wondrous entertainment, indeed, Good Sir! Verily I say unto you: I hath laughed, I hath cried, it hath become a part of me. Rest ye merry, Minstrel!

    ~R

  • Thank ye, Sir Robert of Bass! Me gratitude goeth out to thee 9 X 13 times.

    8-)

  • That was most entertaining, my Lord!

    -Sir Harrison of Ohio

  • Thank-you, Sir Harrison! The Mediæval folk knew how to party! LOL & 8-)

  • This was most entertaining, my Lord!

    -Sir Harrison of Ohio

  • That was fun.

  • Edicus... glad you liked it. 8-)

  • Sir Scott of da Harem Shire,

That was entertaining, funny and artful.

Another fine Production from Diesel and Co.

    -Bob in GA, USA

  • Sir Robert of Georgia, much obliged to thee for ye continued patronage! 8-)

  • very cool indeed,me thinkests!

  • Thancian ye, Sire Fredwych of Arizonica.

  • Sweet video!

  • Thank-you Admiral Steve! I much appreciate your visit with the Bodine as he ravages the Olde World!

  • Arise, Sir Diesel. - Just the thing after the heaviness of the holidays. Another corker from the Bodine Production Co!

    Many thanks,

    Sir Barold de Londres.

ps. please let me know where to find your armourer. My suite's a little rusty. Boom boom

  • Sir Barold... Me suit of armour I picked up down at the Tuna processing plant. (insert canned laughter) 8-)

  • Were you up all knight making this, or joust serfing ye net? A most splendid video, sire! :o)

  • Lord Derek, ye plegan wyth words bringan smiles to mine countenance. 8-)

  • Hey Scott! I didn't know they had butane torches back then! Just kiddin' my man, this period was very fasinating but very brutal also! Very authentic music score, I take it that you always wanted to be 1 of the knights Of The Round Table?

  • Hi Dave! Mediæval folks were definitely brutal. That's why I toned the video down with some attempted humor. No, I wouldn't want to be a knight back then... that's for sure... there was no Internet! LOL & 8-)

  • Loved it Scott! Great music and great video! I often think about how hard life would have been in those ages, and am rather glad I was born in this age! Lol. All the best for the new year man! Cheers!

  • Hulloeth Ed... Yea, me bēon glæd alswā wel thæt we liveth thes dæg! Happy New Year to you as well, my friend!

  • Well, this video pretty much proves all great musicians are friggin' crazy. Well done sir. I mean - your Lordship. (Say, do I bow or curtsy if you enter the room?) 5*

  • Sir David Randall Curtis... thou needeth not bow nor curtsy... thy monicker containeth three names. Ye must be of royal lineage! 8-)

  • I totally dig it.

  • Yitzhak! I'm glad you liked it~ 8-)

  • Ye have a creative video!

  • patman, me tryeth to maketh it that wayeth. Thanks for ye visit!

  • sweet

  • Thanks sk8er676. I tried to add a little fun to the Middle Ages.

  • loved it! you are awesome, I always watch your videos (just so you know, I am a big fan)

  • Why thanks Czarny! I really appreciate that immensely! 8-)

  • Actually I see a bit of British Python humour in this Scott, it's really quite a chuckle !

  • Yeah, Mike... it's such a serious sounding song, that I thought it would be fun to add some sort of humour to the video.

  • Hey Scott any of those castles British. BTW LOL loved the bunsen burner.

  • Hi Mike! I believe so, but I wasn't picking Castles from a specific country. I have some books on castles as well. I love castles! They're just too cool. 8-)
