From 12-13 is a gud age to shave depending on your hair growth. I am 13 years old and my mother just recently let me start shaving. And if your parents do not allow u to shave wat I did was for a long time I used Nair or veet both of them work very well so until u can start shaving use those

My sisters and mother won't let me shave because they said that of i do shave more hair grows back..is that true...i mean I know hair grows back but they say like bushels of more hair grow there! Someone pls give me some facts!

I'm 14 and for some reason, I'm still not allowed. It's not part of my religion or anything, I think that my mum just doesn't like me growing up lawl.

The thing is, my dad's Indian and so I've inherited really really hairy legs. :S

i remember begging my mom to let me shave wen i was in second grade she said no TT_TT since she said tht i decided oh why not tweeze instead even tho it took a long time and hurt i didnt care as long as i got tht hair off my legs

i feel like i have phobia gainst excessive body hair i started shaving at 11 which pissed me off tho i was happy as well but now im 13 and happy as hell shaving i hate body hair tht isnt on my head or eyebrows Dx

@maryjen123 Well I started shaving when I was 10, and you shouldn't be embarrased your mom went through this too when she was younger, so she will understand. what you should say is "Mom, Iv'e been seeing hairs on my legs and I was wondering if I could start shaving?". Hope that helped!

@Megwantstobefamous Thanks so much that helped and I think that mayne I should wait a while later like when I'm close to 12 years old cuz I'm almost 11 but I think I should wait because hair grows more frequently when you shave younger (at least that's what I think) and i just try hiding my legs for a while and thanks alot:)

I waxed from about 11 till 13... and I loved it i only had to do it twice a month, but with waxing you have to wait for it to get better, for u to have to do it less often, and for the hair to grow thinner, and i just didnt wanna wait, so at 13 i started shaving, and have been ever since !

@LushShines . waxing is better. shaving is not good...and this video is correct. Girls should start to shave or wax their legs when they are 9 years old..

@dazzleglassbeauty be glad, I find it REALLY annoying to have to shave every 2 days, and my first thoughts are: 1."What's the weather like that day?" 2."Shorts kinda day" 3."shoot, I've gotta shave." 4:"ugh. maybe I won't go..."

@MsPurpleStars11 I was like 11, I used one of her old dull razors the first few times, then I bought my own at the dollar store >_< I don't think she knows yet...and it's been a few years.
