  • Hi I have a White affliction live fast jacket, beautiful jacket however a bit on the grubby side now what's best way to clean it please, tried cold machine wash with baby wash did no harm to the jacket however didn't really clean the jacket any tips please be most gratefull. Cheers

  • No way! Just no way to use that, I guess that affect later-on clothes are damage or not. Clothes checking to sure if they clothes are ok or not? If they plan the correctly on vision make a real future company wash leathers clothes???

  • What you all afraid of? I never saw a cow goat horse or sheep shrink or turn stiff after a rain. If you use gentle cleaners or plain water and air dry, I don't see any harm in trying, especially when dry cleaning can cost 25-75% of the cost of a new jacket.

  • or if drying washing it would it go bak to it normal size.

  • anyone know to get a leather jacket back to its normal size, when its a little strechout..

  • hot water, cold? you fail to address several steps.

  • Wow okay ppl, if you don't want to wash it in a machine like they do, DON'T DO IT THEN. What's with all the rude comments? No one's forcing you to do it.

  • My husbands leather jacket was covered in dusty like green mold inside the coat closet that is used for storage (big mold problem is being addressed) however I didn't want to just throw away the jacket therefore I put in the wash machine with dish palmolive antibacterial soap. I didn't rinse with anything other than clean water. I set it flat outdoor to sun dry. I became very clean probably a little too dry due to the sun heat. I am conditioning with leather conditioner. Jacket looks new.

  • ya...no thank, I would not damage my leather trench coat the way you want people to do it, I would rather use Shampoo or get it professionally cleaned by a leather cleaner

  • What kind of washer is that?

  • LOL

  • no ticky no washy!!!!!!!

  • I think they are Japanese...

  • No I used reg.shampoo and reg.creame rinse, that you use for your hair. hope that helps..

  • Guys I did this, turned jacket inside out zipped shut put in mesh bag, washed in cold water with shampoo, rinsed in cream rinse. This was a three color jacket (NFL) it came out great did not fade at all. Thanks for the video...

  • .........It a grate life!.

  • "Now it spin-drying! Now it done washing!"

  • Please some one tell me, is this supposed to be funny? I laughed my ass of any way...

  • I have watched this five times in a row. This beats LSD.

  • I also highly recommend NOT washing leather clothing. It might be okay for a very short while, but it will definitely lessen the life of the garment drastically. Actually anything natural like leather should be just left and age by its self. The only reason I could ever imagine to clean a leather garment is if one completely gets it caked in mud or something like that. Otherwise the only washing I'd recommend is maybe just water and using a product like Lexol afterwards.

  • she talks like hilda in ugly betty

  • wow nice video -

I just did it myself yesterday before seeing this video and did not spin dry it but hang it all wet in a hanger to let it leak out and this morning it looked all good and clean.

I made a video aswel..never tought someone else would make a video about this hahaha ..well done great video and thank you again !

  • Leather Therapy products really are amazing especially Infusion Wash and Infusion Rinse. They are safe for leather, suede and fleece. It cleans not only the leather but refreshes the lining that can become smelly. They send samples if you ask - it's worked on EVERYTHING I've tried it on.

  • wonderful acting.

  • I've worked in leather coat manufacturing since 91-92. You can wash most leathers but use shampoo and conditioner (protein soaps for protein fibers). Under no circumstances would I hang it to dry. That's an inordinate load to place on the shoulders. In fact, I don't recommend even storing leather coats by hanging during spring, summer and autumn months.

  • I would tumble dryer in my Dryers 'drying Basket'(It's Bosch!)

  • Depends what you wash it with, I certainly wouldn't recommend a standard European laundry detergent as it will contain various enzymes that will destroy the leather and cause it to crack. US detergents often contain bleaches that will do serious damage too. If you do this only use detergent suitable for wool/silk.

  • Sorry for late reply, YES!, you are right! It is a good idea to use the detergent for silk and wool to wash leather. Because those detergent is near ph7. Also, you can try to use "mild shmpoo" for baby to wash leather for the same reason. But our detergent is very much like ph 5.6 which is very close to our nature. People think ph7 is the nutural which is not right for our skin. Moreover, this detergent provide "amino acid" and "fat" to the leather when you use it.

  • Washing leather is not smart. You will end up taking all of the natural oils out of the leather and it will become dry and crack.

  • Leather Therapy Infusion Wash and Infusion Rinse is the most effective way to wash leather, suede and fleece without depleteing the integrity of the leathers. It works.

  • Beats spending wads of cash on the Dry Cleaner's...and i have 10 leather jackets and they ALL get worn.

  • Sorry, but "Dry Cleaning"break the leather protein a little by little. Please use this product for your best leather jacket, scare? I think so, then try the worst one. You will surprise a lot if it is an old jacket.

  • I have 8 leather jackets and it costs a lot more to replace them then to have them cleaned properly. But go ahead and ruin your clothes if you want.

  • I understand you do not believe me about washing your finest leather jacket. This is not an official comment but you can wash very expensive fur corat with "Leather Wash for Clothes" also. I myself washed three leather jackets and washed 5 pair of lether shoes with "Leather Wash for shoes" and they become perfect condition. Pleasse forget about the lumer we had for 40 centuries.
