-45 with wind chill is cold, but we sure had worse. I remember two or three years ago, -48 and -65 with the wind for like three days. I don't know if they there was school or not in Lab City, but in Fermont we had to go cause they didn't want to close it for three whole days. Very, very bad memories.
@AASparkChaser Just checked the weather, a LOW of 18; -8ish for the rest of the planet. Labrador City, -45 (-49 American) with the Wind Chill. Dont think they compare.
@ThePapadirty was that before or after Meteorologists reconfigured the wind chill system; which they did as -70 was too scary. Next youll tell me you were there in the Winter of '82 where it went down to -100 and the power went and they were flying in supplies.
Heh, alcohol-filled thermometers are useless -40 or lower. :) I think many kinds of alcohol have a melting point of -40.

Only -46 degrees wind chill? Wimps! Obviously they haven't been in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
