Thanks for posting this stotram. I wanted to share this website with all of you which offers pooja services at Navagraha temples in Tamilnadu - Pariharadotcom. Every month, I offer a pooja at the Chandra Navagraha Sthalam at Thingalur in Tamilnadu during my Chandrashtama period. I find great relied and solace when they send me the prasadam beautifully packed.

Sukracharya has nothing to do with this song because its Navgraha song Navgraha means nine houses means nine planets that are residing in our kundli house if you see your birth chart in your mother tongue it shows Chandra Surya same thing if you see in English version it shows moon mercury and ionly wanted to give my information not show my ego but by your comment it shows how Iggnorant your are about your religion and i have done course in Astrology from Sanskrit school in Chennai

Dinu I can not thank you enough for posting this! When I first found it I would watch it again and again...and first thing when I come home from work. I drew such inspiration from the vibration of the photos of the temples and the pics of the deities that I have since been exploring deeper into the power and the potential of navagraha puja. Just wanted to say that some of the english names given for the navagrahas are incorrect. There is analogous diety for most navagrahas in western world (for example Shukra is not venus etc).

am sorry if its wrong, before i made this video i made sure the names using wikipedia, but i din know it was wrong....

maybe i shud have made some more research.... hope all will forgive me for the mistake...

Didn't mean to criticize u :-) I respect the effort you took to create this.

BTW, I want to correct one sentence in my comment. I meant to say: "There is NO analogous diety for most navagrahas". For example, Venus is not guru of "Rakshas" in western tradition.

The mapping could have been for planet names - not the actual nava graha dieties and this is a sloka about the actual dieties and not the celestial bodies.

Hope my explanation makes some sense :-)
