Hi brother Lam....you are my idol for nearly 40 years since VIP...I used to play lead guitar with band "Sunflower" in Thailand 20 years ago....now in New Zealand....you surprise me: found you on U Tube....may see you in Pattaya one day....you are real guitar king, you looking good, young boy never beat you. They need to learn from you...you have survived for 40 years and still going strong.

ive had a few drinks with this guy and he told me that his first experience with guitar was a wooden board with some wires on it and listening to the radio he cant read notes

my friend who is a musician told me that htis guy is probably one of the greatest guitar talents ever

Great to see Lam is as awesome as ever - what a legend! Used to watch him in Pattaya in the mid 80s. Whenever he played 'Roadside Blues' by the Doors he would catch a bottle of beer from the barman (at the same time as the "I got myself a beer" part of the song) and play slide guitar with it - does he still do this?

Me and my dad has seen him playing live at Blues Factory in pattaya, he plays best when he's had a few drinks before going on stage :D

If Piet is the guy I saw over at Tonys. He has nothing on LAM. Piet just plays faster than Lam. Lam has more soul.

Hopefully, Piet and the Climax band will be working at Lam's Rock club very soon. I am trying to get them on contract now.

He is good undoubtedly good, but he is using a lot of distortion on someof that. I think Piet from Climax Bar is better and more versatile. Certainly Piet's version of Parisienne Walkways is better.
