I get mad at how much patience todd had for toni. If I was him, I would've left a long time ago. All she does is make gun of him, spend all hours money, and boss him around. I hate how she always cars about how people view her! But, part of me is glad that todd did stay lol. Lynn and maya were hilarious in the end. joan really got on my nerves in the previous episode, but I like her now. Lol, and william always makes me laugh!

That's one of the things I had a hard time understanding: how can people like Toni when she does the things that she does? She should have known that when she got married, she couldn't have the same old self-centered persona anymore. If Toni had learned to re-prioritize her life for Todd the same way Todd re-prioritized for her, the marriage could've worked. When things are going down-hill, that's when she wants to beg for forgiveness and explain her actions. Why not do that early?

In earlier episodes Seasons 1 & 2 showed Toni masked her insecurities with materialism and her ego . I also loved how the actresses brought the characters they played to"life" and how each one of them actually made you like or dislike them or their actions. This show was my FAVORITE show at the start of the new millennium. My question now is where are all the good tv sitcoms that showcase successful African American people with a great writing these days?

Is Greg the little guy that was in The Jeffersons when Jenny Willis was doing her thesis on gangs, and he was the little fellow that ended up getting his medals, meaning he was killed! Joan, Maya and Lynn always seem to be unsure and unable to make decisions on how they are going to live their lives. Toni has drive and worked very hard to get where she is. Is she vain and self centered? Uh sure. But a lot of people do become that way when they work so hard to get to the top. In a man, these traits would be considered admirable.

Okay, I can vibe with that, I feel that. Toni's got determination and I admire that and that's what I like about her sometimes. But her biggest flaw is prioritizing I feel. Maya is a risk-taker when she wants to be...Lynn is well-educated and can do anything, but won't do it and Joan...well, Joan is like a female version of Max from 'Collateral'. She didn't start taking risks with things until she found out that Lynn failed to do something for her while they were in school.
