the only thing that would have made this situlation worse was if there was $1,000,000 instead of $100,000 that would have been really really painful to see but still a painful sight to watch someone get so close yet so far from winning $100,000
A $100,000 loss on this show will never be the biggest heartbreak in game show history. I remember the time on Who Wants to be a Millionaire when the guy phoned a friend on the $500,000 question and his friend confirmed a correct answer and when he made it his final it was WRONG! He then lost $218,000. Other hearbreakers happened on 5th Grader.
I know, had he called an A as a vowel, that probably would have done it for him. I would have gotten VARSITY SQUAD if he had called an A instead of O which happens to be the reverse of the vowel Allison Racey should have chosen for APOLOGY.
The vowel Robert should've chosen was an A and had he'd chosen it, he would've won $100,000. The vowel Robert chose was the one Allison Racey should have chosen on March 11, 2008.
If Robert hadn't lost that wild card during the game, he probably would have won $100,000. Had he'd chosen the vowel at 1:42, he would have had it. Alison would have won $100,000 had she'd chosen the vowel at 1:10. Alison settled for a better amount than Robert.
What I'm talking about is the 2 other consonants besides the Y plus the vowel which was an A that would have done it for Robert had he'd chosen them and also the biggest heartbreaker that occurred March 11 of last year.
He did. If only Robert had chosen an A as a vowel, he would have won $100,000. The two consonants that might have done it for him besides the Y would have been a V & D.
Do you have the full episode of tonight's Wheel of Fortune? A friend was one of the contestants but the show was not shown due to local bad weather. I would love to watch her and tell her where to watch. Thanks
Robert did the exact opposite of the vowel choosing Allison did in the bonus round. I'll tell you how that happened; On March 11, 2008, Allison should have chosen an O instead of an A as a vowel and if she'd done that, she would have won $100,000. Tonight, Robert should have chosen an A instead of an O as a vowel and if he'd done that, he would have won $100,000. Allison settled for a better amount than Robert which was over $24,000.
I know, if he had chosen a V & D along with a Y and chosen an A as a vowel, he would have won $100,000. The V really would have done it for him had he'd chosen it.
That's Was Very Bad Oh Dear.

Tonight's WOF solution was JUNIOR VARSITY SQUAD. I think he would have got it if the word JUNIOR was in there.

@BartJS300 I agree, it was a rare case where a longer puzzle, with a J no else, made it easier.
That said, Q still killed the two teens last night

He came one second too late to be $100,000 richer. Do the Millionaire question wrong sound when they lose the $100,000 or the Million dollars

Wow Vanna still looks great but I can't believe she is 52!
I can't believe he got that even afterwards.
The APOLOGY one I remember and that was painful!

Imagine how bad it would have been if he had brought the million dollar wedge to the bonus round

Painful failure.

They should do a "Second Chance Week" on Wheel of Fortune, if you ask me...

One week from tomorrow, the biggest heartbreak in "Wheel of Fortune" history will occur one year ago.

I wish I had a recorder then, but nope. :(

That biggest heartbreak occurred 1 year ago on this date March 11.

Sorry, my recorder actually failed me for a good-sized portion of the show. If the show was pre-empted it may be shown some time after midnight.

Yeah, unlike APOLOGY, I didn't get this one either. When Pat showed his reaction to what was in the envelope, I was like, "Oh my God! It's 100K!"

That likely would be APOLOGY, as I put in the description. That was a bit more right at the buzzer...
WayoshiM 2 years ago
Yep, that's it!
carexpertandy 2 years ago
Even if he did call a D and an A I probably still wouldn't have gotten it. That was one of the harder puzzles I've seen in the bonus round.
Wolfman12395 2 years ago
