10/04/09 was the greatest day of my life. I ran in the Twin Cities marathon, the start of which was at the Dome. Later that day, the Twins forced a tie with Detroit in the division. The next day, the Vikes beat the Pack on MNF with Favre, and the day after, the Twins won game 163 against the Tigers. This video marks the culmination of 2 of the greatest weeks in Minnesota history, starting with the Greg Lewis catch, and with the Dome being such a big part of it, I was genuinely sad when it fell.

i was at the game it rocked i would have done the same the the twins were getting rocked by the yanks as usual im a hardcore twins fan and with gardenhires ''we'll get em next time attitude'' the twins wont beat the yanks. that was the only excitement for the twins fans that day

As a kid in 1982, I snuck back into the old Met with my dad to steal our old seats right before they demolished the place. With the possibility of a new stadium for the Vikings, just IMAGINE how many people are going to do what this guy did when the Vikings play their last game there - the last of ANY event inside the Dome... I would totally do that! It would be worth the small trouble you might get in, if any. There will probably be hundreds jumping over that wall...
