It's because of dolphin diving losers that so many modern FPSers (e.g. BFBC2) are removing prone entirely. Thanks for ruining another realistic feature for the rest of us. I've never found the dolphin diving thing that fun, so I'm fine with prone being cut in some games. But really, they don't need to take prone out totally. Just make it more realistic. With a full load of military kit you can't just easily jump up and down while still being able to fire your weapon as the same time. Make prone take a little while to get into and out of and make players vulnerable when they are getting up and down.
