My Oscar is five and looks just like your Oscar. He does the same thing, except when he hears the can opener opening his food....then he's up and ready!

uh i think when ever a human wakes up we have we cant see correctly for a few seconds so the same thing for a dog cuz my dog does that when i wake up in the morning he's in my bed waking up to but he loves to sleep under my neck dont know why

I don't think they are sad eyes, just very contemplative eyes, not sad, not happy just in the middle, perhaps he's trying to figure out what you are doing or going to do..

Oscar is adorable. My Zorro is a burrower, too, sleeping under the covers. He goes back to bed after we get up in the morning and I go to work. I'll have to see if I can grab a video of him poking his head out from under the covers. Thanks so much for sharing this!
