Hi VectraOPC87, I'll now be using Miroslav and The Grand to compose some music as well. My music composition channel was shut down because I also had remixes on there, but I'll be sure to upload original content to my current channel.

I've installed Miroslav Philharmonik but Cubase isn't seeing it.

In Cubase, I've added the path in which the instruments to the VST 2.x list and updated the its VST Plug-Ins. But when I press F11 and click on no instrument, Miroslav Philharmonik isn't shown.

Couild you please advise how I can fix this? If you can I'd be extremely thankful.

How easy was it to use the Miroslav Philharmonik? I'm think of buying it to enhance my compositions in Cubase Artist 6...

It's good but the original piece was written for only 3 or 4 instruments, mostly violins. It does sound good with more strings added and if you ask me a harpsichord really works well with it, but the percussion doesn't fit if you ask me.From what I know this piece was written as a gigue which is usually a piece that was danced too, many people play this really fast or really slow, I'm not sure as to the original tempo but I like it a little faster than your tempo here. :)

That crash cymbals at 0:37 startled me hah, it got too loud out of a sudden from the soft cello and violin. I personally think that the transition from note to note on the cello is too strong--it's not smooth, but thats just me haha. Good work! :)

The Miroslav-Plugin provides unfortunately not so many possibilities, or samples to add have nice smooth transitions. I could reduce the velocity even more, but whether that success would have brought, I do not think so. Now I use the Halion Symphonic Orchestra from Steinberg, there are softer and harder sounds.

@ThomasVoMusic A little work on the attack would probably fix this, plus, if he had several of each instrument playing slightly out of time with each other, they would blend a little better. It's just down to really knowing how things sound and are played on stage, but his work is really good even without this little aesthetic tweeks.

Vielen Dank,ich finde diesen Akzent eigentlich gut,deshalb habe ich es wahrscheinlich auch so gemacht. ;)

Aber trotzdem danke für die Kritik,ich schiebe das aber auch etwas auf meine 8€ Philipskopfhörer,die alles andere als perfekt zum abhören sind. ;)

Ich würde gerne Miroslav Philharmonik mit meinen kleinen AKAI LPK25 Keys ansteuern und aufnehmen. Welche Software Basis brauche ich da? Bzw. ist Cubase am besten geeignet? Neuste Version?

Mich stört ihn FL, dass man an die eingestellte BPM Zahl gebunden ist.

Würde gerne einfach frei spielen, mit Miroslav, das recorden und Drums drunter kloppen.

Für Tipps und Ratschläge wäre ich sehr dankbar. :-)

DukannstdeinKeyboardmitnahezuj­edemSequencerbenutzen.Eskommt ganz darauf an,mit welchem du am besten arbeiten kannst.Ich finde Cubase mit Abstand am besten,aber das musst du für dich selber herausfinden.Und wenn würde ich mir an deiner Stelle natürlich gleich die neueste Version holen.

Aber bei FL Studio bist du an keine BPM's gebunden,die kanst du da genauso verändern oder meinst du,dass man da keine Tempospur hat?

Hast du 'nen Tipp für eine einfaches Tutorial, wie man die Midikeys von Cubase erkannt kriegt? Nehme ich den Recorder um mit VSTi aufzunehmen?

Du verbindest dein Board einfach mit dem PC per USB und dann geht das normalerweise schon.Was fürn Recorder?Du wählst eine MIDI-Spur mit einem VSTi an und drückst dann die Aufnahmetaste im Transportfeld und dann spielst du los.
