Hey everyone. I got an HD PVR for Christmas and I'm so stoked, plan to have a commentary out today. Only problem is that I have few subscribers (you guys know how hard it is to get subs, so I wont go in depth about that). One really great Christmas present would be a couple of subs on my account (thumbs this up so others can see). I made a skype and a twitter to keep in touch with my subs and fans. @tazss159 sure : Metal gear solid 3 - nice graphics at least for ps2, and intelligent enemies. Devil may cry 3 - almost nice graphics, not sure if cut- scenes are real-time, but it sure has a lot of enemies to fights at the same time. Final fantasy XII - for the first time FF series get almost every textures in 3d except for the sky and the CG cut-scenes.

@tazss159 well it depends on the monitor you're using, I was using a standard definition before and didn't notice a lot of difference between ps2, but now I have an HD and lots of things was changed. But you're right only about third party games ( they're not optimized for PS3) but games like Killzone 2, uncharted 1,2 gran turismo 5 and others exclusives, they're using a major power of the ps3. and do not forget how sound and facial animation are totally different than PS2.( try 360)

Naughtydog totally hasn't even scratched the surface with Uncharted 2, there will be better games than this, trust me. Uncharted 3 is gonna make Uncharted 2 look like it was made for the Ps1.

Very well made game, but the concept is the same, same, same.. Male, mediterranean-looking, cool hair, half-shaved beard, heart-breaker hero.. Same concept in Splinter Cell, Just Cause, Deus EX, Witch, etc etc etc... A very well made game that, for its aging concept, will just be remembered as one of many of its kind..
I beat this game like 5 times Lol :P the best game i ever played beat it on all hardness levels hahah still didnt find all treasures tho hah need like 2 more:P
the set peices are fantastic the gunplay and hand-to-hand combat is sleek and it just works. The story is very epic with twists and turns at every corner. This game is definetly worth $60. The only problem is there is no offline co-op modes or offline death matches. Naughty Dog or Playstation needs to make a patch for that issue.
And then people say that 360 is better.How could it be better when ps3 offers you something like this.Something so spectacular so intense and not some gaylo purple enemies and weapons that shoot red ink or something.This game is awesome.
assassins creed 2 is nowhere as good as uncharted 2, I got both for christmas and uncharted 2 is better graphics, gameplay and lots of other stuff in my view
@Hunty1130 Played and finished Uncharted 2 and AC2 and Uncharted 2 is much better than AC2. Gameplay is better for Uncharted 2 and story is a tie. Maybe AC2 had a little better of a story.
I've basically shunned the PS3 for the 360, but I just got a PS3 Slim today, now i'm seeing the capabilities of Sony and I'm completely excited to get this game and others.
most epic scene for me is when the train section explodes, while Drake is hanging on to the side of the next compartment and just when it was about to hit them, the train went into a tunnel =), i got sweaty palms just from watching that
@naraicks they are, well Sony Columbia Pictures are making a movie version of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, where Hugh Jackman (Yes, Wolverine from X-Men), is featuring as Nathan Drake (Usually Nolan North's Occupation).

And Nolan North also confirmed Uncharted 3 (due to many news feeds apparently, it may be cancelled, I'm not sure), but it is rumoured to be on PSP apparantly as well.

Hi, you guys outdone yourselves with this game, but could you guys address the random freezing issues in the later chapters leading up to chp 26? It happened to me a few times, and I have to reset my PS3 again to finish up the game.
Do you own an older PS3 model?. It happened to me as well, but when its played on a Slim, it plays without any problems. It must be due to the improved cell processor the Slim was built with. That or the PS3 is having trouble withstanding the awesomeness of Uncharted 2, haha.
I agree, I have found a lot of others are having a problem with chapter 25 freezing in different areas because of the autosave issue, although it still does autosave so it's not so bad. :]
the part where you are in the temple and are fighting some monsters + theres one minigun dude? i also had freezing there, just restarted my ps3 and done, its not a ps3 system problem, its just a bug which stops moving the system
incredible game actually the best game ive played beside god of war 2.And the graphic are the best ever even better than crysis i know cuse i have crysis and i run it at max settings on a dell xps (core i7)
I took roughly 30 or so hours going through this game, almost half that time looking at the environments. The rain was just too beautiful and perfectly executed and the train mission was just eye watering beautiful. I'm on my second play to gather the rest of the trophies, this game deserves high praise.. Wait, it already has!. Kudos to you Naughty Dog!.

they said that they might put out a patch for offline multiplayer along with other add ons but it all depends on the demand for it

The game looks epic, but somehow looks very very similar to Assassins Creed 2, and in all honesty I think that Assassins Creed will be better.

assassins creed 2 is nowhere as good as uncharted 2, I got both for christmas and uncharted 2 is better graphics, gameplay and lots of other stuff in my view

both games are amazing, but uncharted 2 is more fun IMO, You can kinda "relate" to the characters more, and I think that's really important in a game

@Hunty1130 Played and finished Uncharted 2 and AC2 and Uncharted 2 is much better than AC2. Gameplay is better for Uncharted 2 and story is a tie. Maybe AC2 had a little better of a story.

I've basically shunned the PS3 for the 360, but I just got a PS3 Slim today, now i'm seeing the capabilities of Sony and I'm completely excited to get this game and others.

most epic scene for me is when the train section explodes, while Drake is hanging on to the side of the next compartment and just when it was about to hit them, the train went into a tunnel =), i got sweaty palms just from watching that

@naraicks they are, well Sony Columbia Pictures are making a movie version of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, where Hugh Jackman (Yes, Wolverine from X-Men), is featuring as Nathan Drake (Usually Nolan North's Occupation).
But come on, Hugh Jackman's great right?
And Nolan North also confirmed Uncharted 3 (due to many news feeds apparently, it may be cancelled, I'm not sure), but it is rumoured to be on PSP apparantly as well.

@BalramRules i was talking about the specific people that worked on the game. and not nessesarely an uncharted movie.
i dont really know about jackman, for some reason as much as i dont like the guy i think ryan renolds would be good in the role, i think he has the right amount of smart assness about him to play the part

@BalramRules Why would they cancel it? Seriously, the whole things probably a rumor at this time. I know they are going to make one, they have made millions with the uncharted games. But not this early, uncharted 2 has only been out a few months.

Hi, you guys outdone yourselves with this game, but could you guys address the random freezing issues in the later chapters leading up to chp 26? It happened to me a few times, and I have to reset my PS3 again to finish up the game.

Do you own an older PS3 model?. It happened to me as well, but when its played on a Slim, it plays without any problems. It must be due to the improved cell processor the Slim was built with. That or the PS3 is having trouble withstanding the awesomeness of Uncharted 2, haha.

I agree, I have found a lot of others are having a problem with chapter 25 freezing in different areas because of the autosave issue, although it still does autosave so it's not so bad. :]

the part where you are in the temple and are fighting some monsters + theres one minigun dude? i also had freezing there, just restarted my ps3 and done, its not a ps3 system problem, its just a bug which stops moving the system

I took roughly 30 or so hours going through this game, almost half that time looking at the environments. The rain was just too beautiful and perfectly executed and the train mission was just eye watering beautiful. I'm on my second play to gather the rest of the trophies, this game deserves high praise.. Wait, it already has!. Kudos to you Naughty Dog!.
