"I would rather go to war than live a normal life." Exactly how I've felt since they told me I'll never re-deploy. I did my 15 months from October 06 to January 08, and as soon our plane landed back in the States, I knew I wouldn't quite be the same. I was right. I miss the fight, a lot, but the connective tissue in my body is too jacked up and I wasn't allowed to re-deploy so they're medically discharging me. Fucking sucks.
