Big hair and apron width ties. Well, that was the 1970's. If John Lindsey looks familiar, he's the anchorman that had a very small cameo in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Watch the scene where Richard Dreyfuss is looking up at the TV after his wife has told him she is not coming back on the phone and he is looking at the TV and sees Devil's Tower for the first time.

This was Bob Palmer and Larry Green's first go-round anchoring at a CBS affiliate.
Their second go-round was in 1995, when KCNC was bought by CBS from NBC.
Palmer returned to, and Green joined, CBS4 back in 1982 (it was an NBC affiliate at the time).

i used to work in denver at kmgh tv . they used rca tk-44 for tv studio cams there. pretty big station there..boy, larry green is young there..
