Still the hands-down best game i've ever seen. Travis Stephens was phenomenal. Glad he stuck it out and waited for his time in the spotlight. He made the most of it. This team had a letdown in the SEC championship game, but I still think it is one of the best UT teams I've ever seen. Wish we would've gotten Miami that year. NOONE could run on that DL.

Those other years were little services naming them champs. So if you went by that, then you'd have to add 1984 as a UF National Championship because plenty of those services named UF National Champs that year.

Plus in 3 of those 6 "national champ" years, tennessee LOST their bowl game.

We both have 2. Nobody cares about those podunk services naming champs.
