in 2001-2002 Shelton beat HHH on Raw even with Ric Flair on the sidelines and Ric interfiered like SHIT! Every time Shelton would come near the ropes Ric was at he'd grab his leg and HHH would do a pedigree and Shelton STILL won. Now that's some impressive shit right there, and what did Shelton get for that, you guessed it! NOTHING!!!!!!!
Who do you think the best in the world is? I'm curious since you said drawability plays a factor in your opinion. I'm sticking with Davey simply because no matter where he goes he's always putting on **** matches or higher.
jericho is 10X better than tripleH .and he is the closest to hbk than anybody in that company . he's just mad because jericho was the first undisputed champion. get over it . tripleH did not not make orton. foley made orton. undertaker made orton . hbk made orton. chris benoit made orton .tripleH didnt do shit . and the only reason he favors batista was because he's first guy that brought him to mega star status.
What is really wrong about HHH and his gimmick, is that if he is a face, he is dominant as all shit. Why? Because he buries the crap out of people. If he is a heel he looks like a little bitch (Evolution). Barely beating someone or losing, Like in 2004, Shelton beat him i think 2 times? And your right TSlay, every time he wrestles someone who isnt over, MVP, Shelton, even Brian Kendrick. Like, is their no such thing as an upset??? Why can i predict the winner of every TV WWE match?
triple h job should be to put over some of the younger talent on smackdown, hes already a 12th time champ,no way he should be holding the belt, undertakers put over wrestlers so why cant triple h put his ego aside and do the same.

But you cannot say that it is entirely Triple H's fault. He puts the rub on them and then their in ring abilities look so bad for some reason and thus they get set lower than they were.
you are right if any one wants to see lots of differrent types of the same move watch a roderick strong or PAC Match pac is types of the shooting star and strong is the Messiah of the backbraker HHH cant put any one over
first of all HHH AND AUSTIN cant becompared to eachother they are 2 different wrestlers with different styles HBK made HHH the name he is today HBK is the greatest in ring performer of all time he can put on a show like no one else can he puts the right wrestlers over who he believes deserves to be put over and made a future start HBK and RIC FLAIR have been doing this for years thats why they will be considered the greatest of all time HHH has to let younger wrestlers become stars
not only that, taker does not want to work on the same programme with that bastard HHH.if a legend like taker dosent want to work with him,jus imagine how the entire SD locker room must feel.
HHH is a bum. He's the reason guys like Orton and Batista have top spots. It's a pyramid.
I'm glad that selfish cunt is off. CM Punk and Jericho as World Champs. You'd NEVER see that if HHH is on the show. How dare those little midcard losers hold a title on the same show as the great HHH?!
Before he got his main-event push, Batista was never over with fans. After buring Orton, he took Batista and it was like he was saying "Here's the next big star in the company and your going to like him because your gonna want him to turn face and he's going to beat me for the World Heavyweight Championship at WM 21." The fans fell under his spell and all of those things happened. And all of a sudden Batista became a big name in WWE. And that's why he's still over with fans today.
The thing I can't stand about Triple H marks (KcLegendary, Isba, etc.) is that because there fans of the guy they just totally ignore the things that he does backstage. KcLegenary just blames Vince for all the things that go on backstage and granted Vince desevers a lot of the blame but does it excuse HHH's actions backstage? Isba praised his match with Khail like it was a 5-star match which it clearly wasn't. This is why I never take HHH marks seriously, at all!
HHH strikes again. Not the worst WWE PPV I've seen (GAB 2004 still holds that title IMO), but could have been better if triple politics had not squashed everybody (especially Kendrick) and made it so obvious that he was gonna win. Big Show heel turn = highly predictable. New champs, yet I'm more satisfied with Hardy winning than Y2J. Now WWE wants to be WCW 2.0 as much as TNA. At least Rashad Evans pwned Liddell. There's a surprise.

Additionally, I don't know why people are saying that Taker doesn't put people over. Taker makes his opponents look good, HHH doesn't. Taker MADE Kane, who is another one of the veterans now that I have a high amount of respect for, because Kane will put anyone over. I'm hoping HHH drops the title soon, maybe at Survivor Series, because there's no way he'll drop it at No Mercy. I say give it to Hardy or MVP, but at this point, as long as Khali doesn't get it, I really don't care who takes it.
HHH is selfish, it's as simple as that. I thought Unforgiven was decent last night, but of all 3 Scrambles who was the only one to retain? You guessed it, HHH. They teased giving the title to Hardy, and the way HHH won the match was pretty much a slap in the face. He is holding down potential main event champions on Smackdown (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Jeff Hardy, Kennedy when he was active, and I guarantee he won't put over Kendrick considering his size) Somebody needs to take that title from him.
wwe could end up like wcw did with reguard making new stars. HHH should be putting guys over. Give him a good fued in ECW and big up the brand a bit. I like HHH but I bored of seeing this same shit over and over. Unfortunatly, I don't think anything's going to change anytime soon though.
At around the 15 minute mark talking about HHH not being as big as a draw then Austin, Rock etc. I swear I just read that some where on some other website
Heh, I find it funny that Trips would refuse a feud with Umaga (who is fairly entertaining, has a decent enough fanbase that started growing around his 2nd Intercontinental title reign and can work well with others for a guy his size), then have a feud with Khali to pretty much inflate his own ego and outdo Cena's attempts at making Khali look decent last year.
HHH/Umaga looks like a money feud for SmackDown as opposed to another Hogan/Andre rehash.
Another thing that you mentioned is that when John Cena is superman then everyone hates on him because he always "overcomes the odds" but when Triple H is superman then it's alright. They don't boo HHH oh but they boo Cena but HHH is practically doing the same thing like Cena is! Doesn't really make sense, doesn't it!
Yeah that was bullshit that Edge had to give up his title so HHH could keep his on SmackDown! I don't mind CM Punk winning the title but I would much rather have had Punk beat HHH to bring the WWE Championship back to RAW. IMAO the WWE Championship belongs on RAW and the World Heavyweight Championship should be on SmackDown! One of the reasons why I liked the 2005 draft so much was that the titles changed shows and for the better.
Ill admit HHH buried Orton after his first reign but Orton is a top star because of the RatedRKO/DX fued and his fued with Cena. Not fueding with Taker. HHH has buried plenty of talent and not made a lot of stars. But neither has Taker. Honestly if HHH hadn't made Batista and helped with Orton the WWE would have no new stars.
That's funny! I thought Orton's time on SmackDown! and fueding with The Undertaker is what put Orton back on top and started to look legit again but it was when he went back to RAW in June 2006 is when he started to look weak again.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Also HHH never the top draw? Meltzer made a report that said HHH is one of the top 10 draws ever when he was on top in 2000. Taker NEVER, EVER, EVER was the top draw. Everything said about HHH can be said about Taker. Please Taker marks get off his nuts and use your eyes. Taker has MADE who? Lesnar. Who isn't a star now. Honestly if Taker would put someone over there would be stars to go next to HHH stars he MADE.
First off, Lesnar wouldn't be a star with the company now seeing that he's NO LONGER WITH WWE! So your logic is flawed when it comes to Lesnar. Plus it's one thing to hate The Undertaker but it's another when your acting like a total idiot about it. 'Taker was never a top draw?! WTF! Why don't you go back and re-check your history because I'm not about to explain to a dumbass like yourself!
Taker didn't make shit in 17 years. Taker made Orton? What? HHH got him over in evolution then got him back over in the DX/Rated RKO fued. Taker did nothing. Honestly everything said about HHH should be said about Taker. The fact that you said there no starpower is because of HHH is a load of crap. Please name me a star Taker has made that is on top. HHH made Orton and Batista who are two of the top guys in the company. Taker is evry bit as bad as HHH but everyone in the IWC are on his nuts.
Undertaker has spent alot of his career working with guys that really aren't that good, but he manages to make them look good while they are working with him.
Giant Gonzalez, Heidenreich, Kama Mustafa, King Mabel, Great Khali, Luther Reigns.
Taker also spent his early years being made by stars like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, & Kamala.
As for who Taker made himself, he definately made Mankind & Kane. Those were his two biggest contributions. He was also one of several vets that helped make Brock (the only ones who managed to escape losing to Brock were Michaels & HHH...hmmmm)
He also helped Orton, Big Show, JBL, Edge, Kennedy, & hell even gave Jeff Hardy a hell of a match on Raw once.
Actually at one of the Insurrexion ppvs from the UK HHH was in a triple threat with Lesnar and The Rock. Not only was HHH the one pinned by Lesnar but he also let him kick out of the pedigree.
PS: if it was actually Rebellion I apologize, I'm better at remembering the matches than remembering what show/ ppv they were on.
Oh That's right. Thanks dude. Oh and I need to make a correction, the Rock got the pinfall (sorry about that) but Brock did kick out of the Pedigree without the Rock even breaking it up which in itself gave Brock a rub. I mean how often does someone kick out of the Pedigree especially AFTER taking a People's Elbow?
I think some anti-Cena prick gave you a thumbs down. Let's fix that. I actually miss that specific point in Cena's career, the 03 Taker feud. And by no means am I a Cena fan. God forbid.
Ceba was already the top guy at that point, and HHH actually ruined Cena and made the negative reactions he was getting even worse. He did the DX chop and did almost everything in his power it seemed to make Cena look bad. Even though Cena won, he still came off looking like the most hated babyface in the world.
As for stars that Triple H has made, your right there aren't many.
Since becoming a main eventer, the only people Triple H has really made are Batista & to a degree Chris Benoit (he finally gave Benoit his big win anyway)
He didn't make Orton. I think credit goes to Foley for that one, and then Trips actually fucked him over on the face turn, and then Taker built him back up.
And to be fair, I'll give him credit for helping Jericho out in 2000. Granted Jericho never beat him, but that feud they had in the middle of the year really put a ton of spotlight on Y2J.
The Undertaker built Randy Orton back-up my ass. Taker did far more damage to Orton than Trips ever did. People did not even give two flying ***** about Orton, until Rated-RKO, and did not get his cred. back until the rubs from RVD, Dusty Rhodes, and Shawn Michaels.
I thought the best example of Triple H's abuse of power was in 2006. Wrestlemania 22's main event SHOULD have been Champion Edge defending against John Cena. After stealing the title via MITB, Edge was red fucking hot, and should have been the heel champ going into Mania, and having Cena chase Edge may have helped him out with the negative reactions he was getting...but no. They gave it to Trips, and we got a boring fucking match that nobody gave a shit about.
I agree completely, the fact that Hunter would go to management and push for Cena to retain his title over Edge at Royal Rumble 06 to then insert himself at Mania as Cena's opposition is a true testament of his own Ego.Not withstanding the promo he did shortly after Mania stating he took a nap during Edge's reign which did nothing but make Edge seem like a transitional champion and inferior in the pecking order of heels at the time.Saddly enough,Hunter still pulls this crap to this very day!
I'm willing to bet MBWRESTLER87 is gonna add this one to his favorites, lol. The only thing that's gonna make HHH change his ways is another quad tear. Sad, but true. Great vid.
Yes, thank you. I am a Triple H fan, but this is the one thing that pisses me off about him to the point where I begin to dislike him. He needs to start putting people over, same with Michaels.
i agree with most of your comments about Triple H but i disagree about the Batista comment. I know Batista had a lot of fan reaction before their match at Wrestlemania 21 but i do think Triple H elevated Batista to that Main Event level with solid matches (not Backlash) and a good feud.
Real good video, honestly you are right on about everything. HHH has never put any over, he wants to be Flair but he isnt even close. Now the irony with Danielson is that since 2006 he has been taking a Ric Flair role in making everyone look good.
In 2002, HHH killed every contender that WERE ready to be elevated and to this day even as 12 time champ, he is unable to put his ego in check and make the WWE better and make his legacy bigger.
P.S. Danielson may not be the best but hes high up ther
Wow couldn't agree with u anymore 4 a while now WWE has lacked "BIG" new stars n as much as I like guys like Jeff, MVP, Kennedy, n Shelton, etc it's true I wouldn't think they would last or would b "WWE championship material." Which is y I like TNA (W/E I could care lee what anybody thinks) the Veterans or more like "WWE Rejex" guys like Kurt, Team 3D, n Booker T, Sting somewhat make guys N i like that. Damn HHH always burying ppl screw him n the selfish WWE bastards.
To be honest, I want to hold the belt for a year like Cena did last year. Why? First off, I'm not a fan of Trips either, so let's not go there.
Why do I want this? Remember when people whined and cried like a bunch of babies over Cena's title reign? Imagine if Trips did the same thing. They'd be sitting on their hands like retards in an asylum saying:
"Oh, it's HHH. He's a good wrestler. His title reign isn't so bad, unlike John Cena who was Superman. Blah Blah Blah!"
I remember when Triple H tapped out for Benoit at Mania XX and a friend of mine made this comment: "You know the World is coming to an end because HHH tapped out to somebody that isn't in the kliq"
its wrestling it makes me laugh at your virgin ass that you get pissed over something that is writen out. You think so much more in the buisness then you suppose. You will never get into wrestling buisness they dont want a ugly 30 year like urself.
I think it's funny how I get thumbs down for pointing out things Taker has done, specially the Kennedy incident. I mean we all know that Taker is Jesus and HHH is the antichrist lol.
Great vid, but i wanna know how you can say Triple H buried the tag team division on Raw? And at what point you think HHH buried the tag division? During the DX/Spirt Squad feud?
And during the time Cade and Murdoch were the champions, beat them both under 5 minutes with a SPINEBUSTER (not the Pedigree), then using his finisher on both London and Kendrick for no reason after they saved him from the beatdown.
"Never been as over as Stone Cold, Rock, Taker" You could argue he was when he was part of D-X but then he wasn't on his own. But still a large part of D-X getting over.
i agree the fans want to get behind SHelton benjamin they want to see him rise
And HHH on smackdown has been low key we will see how this plays out has long has he stays away from raw iam ok with it becasue hes been on there for SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LONG
I've posted this on some other vids, but I never get this answer. How do you know that HHH said that about Umaga? That's the thing, you don't know, you just think that's what he said. BTW TSlay, your definition of putting someone over, is very true, however, HHH has done that, not as often as he should, but he has done that, more times than people want to say. BTW, how do you know the he, and other people backstage, think like that? It irks me when people believe the internet, as fact.
Awesome video. I like Triple H as a wrestler, but the guy uses a lot of politics to get ahead. That was definitely witnessed when I saw his match with Chavo Guerrero two months ago. Most of the posters in the IMDb (Internet Movie Database) are idiots and can't even see that.
2. Triple H could've made a mid-carder like Chavo Guerrero look good in that match, but instead he won the match as the dominant, as if Chavo was merely a jobber. At least with Shelton up until the end, he looked like a contender. That was not the case with Chavo. He was totally buried in that match.
Chavo was portrayed as the typical, arrogant, veteran-like heel champion going into WrestleMania, thinking that he could not be beaten even without knowing who his opponent is.
Basically that same arrogance in his character was the reason to him being squashed in that matter without hurting his credibility and losing the title in the process.
Chavo knew who his opponent was though, Kane won the battle royal earlier that night before Mania started. I have to respectfully disagree though... if you say that it was fine, it didn't hurt his credibility because he was the "typical, arrogant, veteran-like heel champion" then you could say that every cocky heel champion could get squashed in a matter of seconds and it wouldn't hurt their cred at all... somehow I don't think that would fly.
But he wasn't squashed. In fact, the context of that match allows Chavo to lose little credibility because Kane had come from behind and hit his finishing blow to defeat Chavo. That allows an out that explains Chavo losing as quickly as he did.
True that but the thing is it's not like Kane just completely snuck up on him. That was mainly just Chavo's excuse. If you watch the match Chavo turned around... saw Kane... and then ran at him into a chokeslam. If anything it just made Chavo look like an idiot for running at him lol. I'm not complaining btw, I actually found it entertaining lol.
To me Flair, Taker, Hart, Mr.Perfect, these are guys that at the pinnacle of there Career could go in the ring with guys like Yokozuna, Papa Shango, Lex Luger, Giant Gonzalez, and others and no matter how bad the other guy was they could go in the ring with one of those 4 guys and win or lose come out looking like contenders, I dont see that with Trips or Shawn unless they are putting over their buddy
HHH did more bad than good. Yeah, he came back from 2 quad injures. But he destroy half of the roster of the WWE went he came back. That is more bad than good. I just think WWE has a future stars like back in 1990s or so. If they do, then it will be great but I doubt it.
Yes, it's a nice story of triumph for Triple H to have returned from two serious injuries to return to the top of the mountain, but like it's been said: what has he done for the business in these returns?
He's done a lot of good by his career but what good has he done by others careers since his returns from injury? How has he made other stars look like they belonged in the same ring as him?
I think trips and shawn are Notorious for not putting guys over I mean Shawn started that way back in the day and trips follows shawns example now shawn is a lot better of putting guys over now, But to me they have the Hogan Mentality One of the reasons i liked Bret Hart was that no matter who they put in the ring with Bret, Bret always used there best stuff and win or lose they looked like real contenders i.e. Austin, Backlund and others he wrestled like him or hate him bret was good at that.
Very good video. But hopefully something good happens on smackdown. Too be honest smackdown in my opinion is way better than raw. I mean you have young stars on smackdown getting there shine. Shelton Benjamin, brian kendrick, mvp, kennedy, and hpefully kenny dykstra, so I believe wwe is doing the right job. I mean look at raw's scrabble its the same guys again but compare it to smackdowns scrabble all new guys so I think they are doing a good job
Ace video. Particularly like the part about how no one minds when HHH plays Superman, but they hate it when Cena does.
(Off topic) What gets me most is when fans booed Cena and chanted "You can't wrestle", then they get CM Punk (A brilliant wrestler) as a champion and they STILL boo him. I don't get it at all.
For the CM Punk comment, it's because fans are spoiled. At least to me they are.
As for HHH? He's not Superman. He's basically every single superhero (and super VILLIAN) in the Marvel and DC Universes combined. His character is THAT strong in the WWE at the moment.
Not to the same degree though. Because while Punk is sold as being unable to hang with the bigger main eventers around him, he's actually stood his ground and looked like he belonged in that ring with them, even getting wins over them. Joe is not only sold as being unable to beat Booker, but not once has Joe been able to get the upper hand on him to the point that he looked like he really could beat Booker in a one on one bout.
i think that even tho its a gimmick, from watching bryan danileson and what he does in the ring, gimmick or not he has me thinkin he is the best pure wresler in the world i have seen, b/c im not to up on mexico and japan, but in the states, his matched are clinics that triple h should watch sometime.
I think thats whats drew me to roh, how can triple h say indy guys or whatever dont have passion, those guys work w/ each other to put out the best for the fans and the business, not for an ego like trips, I mean its almost like theres two wwe's, the good one w/ taker, hbk and the young guys, then u have triple h's wwe, which is all bout him!
Well said, I mean I know wwe isnt as good as it could be, but really for me the one thing that sucks bout the whole wwe is triple h's bs, he went from being one of the cool people in wrestling to being a prick. Like i could watch raw and that awesome angle w/ jericho and hbk, then i watch smackdown and get crap like triple h and khali. Hey slay, do u ever see rvd goin to roh, for a short time like jerry lynn??
And where is Benjamin now? As a damn middle card champion. I believe if u put someone over, then they career will go up and up. And we will have talk about how he is going to be the next WWE or Heavyweight Champ. But do we? No. He is a middle carder and it will not change. And if it do change, it will be too late.
if Triple H didn't make batstia, well then, batstia beat cena, so what doesnt that make him now? i guess cena is what i have always knowing hes nothing
totally agree with this dude, HHH pisses me off more than anyone on the roster, was I the only one that was annoyed when he was drafted to smackdown? everyone saying oh HHH is on smackdown its the A show now, fuck off! its twice as boring now cause we know that HHH is gonna come out, and make guys like jeff hardy, umaga, benjamin, mvp and others job to him! HHH is the most selfish son of a bitch in the entire company! fact!
didnt hhh put benjamin over int he past like in 04 only for it to go nowhere. That isn't hhh fault, benjamin has had 100 opputunities to get OVER and he never has succeded.
I am sorry, however, that would have just been plain unrealistic. The only error in that feud is there was not more build. Otherwise, in 2004, Triple H could have not put over Shelton Benjamin anymore they he did.
just like kenny dykstra i mudt add. The guy beats ric flair 3 times and still doesnt get himself over. You can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink and benjamin is exactly the same.
ok i know the smackdown crowd noise is fake but what isnt fake is the 50 thousand people wearing jeff hardy merchandise and going nuts when ever he wrestles. So why isnt he the No1 guy on smackdown or up there with Taker, and dont go on about the drug thing because we all know WWE has double standards and there are lots of smoke and mirrors on who gets busted and what not. it makes no sense why there arent giveing jeff hardy the "superman" push to make TRY and make a new austin or rock.
The drug offenses are a viable reason. Most busted people use steroids which will give you a cut look, improve your performance and recovery time, but can cause longterm damage. Jeff does recreation drugs like cocain, heroin, & LSD. All of which have no value to performance, causes long-term damage, and has high potental for overdose.
Imagine if they gave Jeff the belt and he died of overdose with it. Thats not as bad as giving it to Batista who will die of an enlarged heart a decade later.
The crowd noise on SmackDown isn't all fake, but they do enhance it.
But as for Jeff Hardy not getting a superman like push is for the simple reason that he lacks the look for such a push. He's not really a big man to warrant such a push. Also, his issues with drugs does play a big role, especially in today's society where fans are more aware of what goes on backstage.
Nice to see Triple H, put over CM Punk.

HHH is a bum. He's the reason guys like Orton and Batista have top spots. It's a pyramid.
I'm glad that selfish cunt is off. CM Punk and Jericho as World Champs. You'd NEVER see that if HHH is on the show. How dare those little midcard losers hold a title on the same show as the great HHH?!
therealyanksup 3 years ago 2
Before he got his main-event push, Batista was never over with fans. After buring Orton, he took Batista and it was like he was saying "Here's the next big star in the company and your going to like him because your gonna want him to turn face and he's going to beat me for the World Heavyweight Championship at WM 21." The fans fell under his spell and all of those things happened. And all of a sudden Batista became a big name in WWE. And that's why he's still over with fans today.
Big2thaTony 3 years ago

I say give it to Hardy or MVP, but at this point, as long as Khali doesn't get it, I really don't care who takes it.
violator04 3 years ago
HHH is selfish, it's as simple as that. I thought Unforgiven was decent last night, but of all 3 Scrambles who was the only one to retain? You guessed it, HHH. They teased giving the title to Hardy, and the way HHH won the match was pretty much a slap in the face. He is holding down potential main event champions on Smackdown (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Jeff Hardy, Kennedy when he was active, and I guarantee he won't put over Kendrick considering his size) Somebody needs to take that title from him.
violator04 3 years ago 2
Sorry about my grammar and spelling, it's about as good as Black Reign promo.

wwe could end up like wcw did with reguard making new stars. HHH should be putting guys over. Give him a good fued in ECW and big up the brand a bit. I like HHH but I bored of seeing this same shit over and over. Unfortunatly, I don't think anything's going to change anytime soon though.

What? HHH trying to outshine another wrestler? Blasphemer!

I find it really funny as to how people think that lose a feud with The Undertaker, was buried. How? How the hell did he bury people? Please.
Cause last time I checked, you don't even have to win a feud in order to be put over. Cause the main reason of a feud is to make someone LOOK good.
lightning116 3 years ago
Another thing that you mentioned is that when John Cena is superman then everyone hates on him because he always "overcomes the odds" but when Triple H is superman then it's alright. They don't boo HHH oh but they boo Cena but HHH is practically doing the same thing like Cena is! Doesn't really make sense, doesn't it!
Big2thaTony 3 years ago 2

Honestly if HHH hadn't made Batista and helped with Orton the WWE would have no new stars.
kingjames41189 3 years ago
That's funny! I thought Orton's time on SmackDown! and fueding with The Undertaker is what put Orton back on top and started to look legit again but it was when he went back to RAW in June 2006 is when he started to look weak again.

Honestly if Taker would put someone over there would be stars to go next to HHH stars he MADE.
kingjames41189 3 years ago
First off, Lesnar wouldn't be a star with the company now seeing that he's NO LONGER WITH WWE! So your logic is flawed when it comes to Lesnar. Plus it's one thing to hate The Undertaker but it's another when your acting like a total idiot about it. 'Taker was never a top draw?! WTF! Why don't you go back and re-check your history because I'm not about to explain to a dumbass like yourself!
Big2thaTony 3 years ago
Taker didn't make shit in 17 years. Taker made Orton? What? HHH got him over in evolution then got him back over in the DX/Rated RKO fued. Taker did nothing. Honestly everything said about HHH should be said about Taker. The fact that you said there no starpower is because of HHH is a load of crap. Please name me a star Taker has made that is on top. HHH made Orton and Batista who are two of the top guys in the company. Taker is evry bit as bad as HHH but everyone in the IWC are on his nuts.
kingjames41189 3 years ago
Undertaker has spent alot of his career working with guys that really aren't that good, but he manages to make them look good while they are working with him.
Giant Gonzalez, Heidenreich, Kama Mustafa, King Mabel, Great Khali, Luther Reigns.
NYG4LIFE123 3 years ago
Taker also spent his early years being made by stars like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, & Kamala.
As for who Taker made himself, he definately made Mankind & Kane. Those were his two biggest contributions. He was also one of several vets that helped make Brock (the only ones who managed to escape losing to Brock were Michaels & HHH...hmmmm)
He also helped Orton, Big Show, JBL, Edge, Kennedy, & hell even gave Jeff Hardy a hell of a match on Raw once.
NYG4LIFE123 3 years ago 2

You forgot Cena.
During John Cena's heel run in 2003, Taker helped elevated Cena as well.

manboymalething 3 years ago
Ceba was already the top guy at that point, and HHH actually ruined Cena and made the negative reactions he was getting even worse. He did the DX chop and did almost everything in his power it seemed to make Cena look bad. Even though Cena won, he still came off looking like the most hated babyface in the world.

KingOfRock8887 3 years ago 5
As for stars that Triple H has made, your right there aren't many.
Since becoming a main eventer, the only people Triple H has really made are Batista & to a degree Chris Benoit (he finally gave Benoit his big win anyway)
He didn't make Orton. I think credit goes to Foley for that one, and then Trips actually fucked him over on the face turn, and then Taker built him back up.
NYG4LIFE123 3 years ago
And to be fair, I'll give him credit for helping Jericho out in 2000. Granted Jericho never beat him, but that feud they had in the middle of the year really put a ton of spotlight on Y2J.
NYG4LIFE123 3 years ago
I could not agree more.
Otherwise, you do not necessarily have to gain victory to get a rub:
-Austin-Bret WM 13
-Cena's WWE debut match against Angle
-Bulldog-Bret SummerSlam '92
-Steamboat-Savage WM 3
-Razor-Michaels WM 10
-Kane-Taker WM 14
-Trips-Rock SummerSlam 1998
I could list more, however, I think you get the point.
manboymalething 3 years ago
The Undertaker built Randy Orton back-up my ass. Taker did far more damage to Orton than Trips ever did. People did not even give two flying ***** about Orton, until Rated-RKO, and did not get his cred. back until the rubs from RVD, Dusty Rhodes, and Shawn Michaels.
manboymalething 3 years ago
I thought the best example of Triple H's abuse of power was in 2006. Wrestlemania 22's main event SHOULD have been Champion Edge defending against John Cena. After stealing the title via MITB, Edge was red fucking hot, and should have been the heel champ going into Mania, and having Cena chase Edge may have helped him out with the negative reactions he was getting...but no. They gave it to Trips, and we got a boring fucking match that nobody gave a shit about.
NYG4LIFE123 3 years ago
I agree completely, the fact that Hunter would go to management and push for Cena to retain his title over Edge at Royal Rumble 06 to then insert himself at Mania as Cena's opposition is a true testament of his own Ego.Not withstanding the promo he did shortly after Mania stating he took a nap during Edge's reign which did nothing but make Edge seem like a transitional champion and inferior in the pecking order of heels at the time.Saddly enough,Hunter still pulls this crap to this very day!

i agree with most of your comments about Triple H but i disagree about the Batista comment.

Why do I want this? Remember when people whined and cried like a bunch of babies over Cena's title reign? Imagine if Trips did the same thing. They'd be sitting on their hands like retards in an asylum saying:

BTW TSlay, your definition of putting someone over, is very true, however, HHH has done that, not as often as he should, but he has done that, more times than people want to say. "That Shelton match was completely ridiculous."
Not nearly as ridiculous as his match with Chavo Guerrero was about two months ago.
AFreakyDude 3 years ago
What? What happened? What did Triple H do that made his match with Chavo look horrible?
lightning116 3 years ago
1. That match wasn't even serious.
2. Triple H could've made a mid-carder like Chavo Guerrero look good in that match, but instead he won the match as the dominant, as if Chavo was merely a jobber. At least with Shelton up until the end, he looked like a contender. That was not the case with Chavo. He was totally buried in that match.
AFreakyDude 3 years ago
And Kane beating Chavo in 8 seconds didn't bury Chavo?
boobman86 3 years ago
Chavo was portrayed as the typical, arrogant, veteran-like heel champion going into WrestleMania, thinking that he could not be beaten even without knowing who his opponent is.
Basically that same arrogance in his character was the reason to him being squashed in that matter without hurting his credibility and losing the title in the process.
lightning116 3 years ago
Chavo knew who his opponent was though, Kane won the battle royal earlier that night before Mania started. I have to respectfully disagree though... if you say that it was fine, it didn't hurt his credibility because he was the "typical, arrogant, veteran-like heel champion" then you could say that every cocky heel champion could get squashed in a matter of seconds and it wouldn't hurt their cred at all... somehow I don't think that would fly.
boobman86 3 years ago
But he wasn't squashed. In fact, the context of that match allows Chavo to lose little credibility because Kane had come from behind and hit his finishing blow to defeat Chavo. That allows an out that explains Chavo losing as quickly as he did.
moralvirus 3 years ago
True that but the thing is it's not like Kane just completely snuck up on him. That was mainly just Chavo's excuse. If you watch the match Chavo turned around... saw Kane... and then ran at him into a chokeslam. If anything it just made Chavo look like an idiot for running at him lol. I'm not complaining btw, I actually found it entertaining lol.

Hexagramdef 3 years ago
Yes, it's a nice story of triumph for Triple H to have returned from two serious injuries to return to the top of the mountain, but like it's been said: what has he done for the business in these returns?
He's done a lot of good by his career but what good has he done by others careers since his returns from injury? How has he made other stars look like they belonged in the same ring as him?
moralvirus 3 years ago
I think trips and shawn are Notorious for not putting guys over I mean Shawn started that way back in the day and trips follows shawns example now shawn is a lot better of putting guys over now, But to me they have the Hogan Mentality One of the reasons i liked Bret Hart was that no matter who they put in the ring with Bret, Bret always used there best stuff and win or lose they looked like real contenders i.e. Austin, Backlund and others he wrestled like him or hate him bret was good at that.
Mike86boy 3 years ago
Very good video. But hopefully something good happens on smackdown. Too be honest smackdown in my opinion is way better than raw. I mean you have young stars on smackdown getting there shine. Shelton Benjamin, brian kendrick, mvp, kennedy, and hpefully kenny dykstra, so I believe wwe is doing the right job. I mean look at raw's scrabble its the same guys again but compare it to smackdowns scrabble all new guys so I think they are doing a good job

Ace video. Particularly like the part about how no one minds when HHH plays Superman, but they hate it when Cena does.

For the CM Punk comment, it's because fans are spoiled. At least to me they are.
As for HHH? He's not Superman. He's basically every single superhero (and super VILLIAN) in the Marvel and DC Universes combined. His character is THAT strong in the WWE at the moment.
lightning116 3 years ago 2
Punk has the same curse as Joe, they are champs but they are booked as crap champs.
Twiztedgoalie 3 years ago
Not to the same degree though. Because while Punk is sold as being unable to hang with the bigger main eventers around him, he's actually stood his ground and looked like he belonged in that ring with them, even getting wins over them. Joe is not only sold as being unable to beat Booker, but not once has Joe been able to get the upper hand on him to the point that he looked like he really could beat Booker in a one on one bout.

Lol, HHH's antics are fairly well known. You don't have to have gone backstage to know that HHH doesn't like putting people over.

Hunter did put shleton over years ago

And the WWE didn't do anything with him, nullifying what Triple H may have done for him then.
Right now, Shelton doesn't look like he belongs in the same ring as Triple H thanks to years of bad booking around him.

No Not Exactly, HHH didnt loose cleanly and when Benjamin won HHH made it look like a fluke

totally agree with this dude, HHH pisses me off more than anyone on the roster, was I the only one that was annoyed when he was drafted to smackdown? everyone saying oh HHH is on smackdown its the A show now, fuck off! its twice as boring now cause we know that HHH is gonna come out, and make guys like jeff hardy, umaga, benjamin, mvp and others job to him! HHH is the most selfish son of a bitch in the entire company! fact!
kennedymvp07 3 years ago
didnt hhh put benjamin over int he past like in 04 only for it to go nowhere. That isn't hhh fault, benjamin has had 100 opputunities to get OVER and he never has succeded.

He may have put over Shelton Benjamin back in 2004 he didn't even get over him.
Reddogg19 3 years ago
I ment Shelton didn't even get a clean pin over HHH back in 2004.(other comment was messed up)
Reddogg19 3 years ago
I am sorry, however, that would have just been plain unrealistic. The only error in that feud is there was not more build. Otherwise, in 2004, Triple H could have not put over Shelton Benjamin anymore they he did.

just like kenny dykstra i mudt add. The guy beats ric flair 3 times and still doesnt get himself over. You can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink and benjamin is exactly the same.
Dante1Savage 3 years ago
he made Kenny Dykstra look like nothing to him,

ok i know the smackdown crowd noise is fake but what isnt fake is the 50 thousand people wearing jeff hardy merchandise and going nuts when ever he wrestles. So why isnt he the No1 guy on smackdown or up there with Taker, and dont go on about the drug thing because we all know WWE has double standards and there are lots of smoke and mirrors on who gets busted and what not. it makes no sense why there arent giveing jeff hardy the "superman" push to make TRY and make a new austin or rock.

smackdown noise has allways been fake
