Well if u don't want 358/2 days spoiled stop reading now... still here, okay, its because when Roxas defeats Xion, they synch together, thus the reason he can use 2 keyblades. Then when he goes to fight Riku, Xion temporarily takes over and throws a keyblade to Riku, so that Riku can stop Roxas so Roxas won't go try to fight the organization and get killed. All the Japanese scenes are actually voiced in the game, so if u want the english version, check them out, theyre on this site somewhere.

The entire time Riku was in Xehanort's Heartless's form, why didn't he use the Dark Guardian? I mean, he could use it against Roxas. Why not against Saix? or even Xemnas? also, why didn't he use his Soul Edge againt Roxas? He had it all through CoM and at the beginning of KH2.
