  • "HO-OOOOOLLLLLLLD EVERYTHING!!!" Ha Ha!! I miss these cartoons. I used to watch them all the time on WDCA-TV (Channel 20) in Washington, DC wayyyyyyyy back in the day. Can't really show them today, because they are beyond "PC" (I mean, JOE JITSU, ferchrissakes!!).

    And, Dick Tracy never really done anything--

    just send his flunkies to do it all. "HEAP O'CALORY"--ohhhh, gawd!!! Those were the days.

  • That's the funny thing about old cartoons. They seem so idiotic, so does new stuff. Nothing's ever good except the stuff from your own generation, save a few true classics. In the future kids'll be talking about how GI Joe was fuckin' retarded, or Rugrats, or Megas XLR, or maybe even Samurai Jack. Time's a fickle thing.

    I was born in 56, so was exposed to a lot of different things. I came to the conclusion that anything out of Disney meant to be humorous was completely devoid of humour. Popeye was watchable (just) but rarely amused. WB stuff was good: Bugs and Daffy were FUNNY. But top of my list (also WB) was Roadrunner.

    Rugrats is OK (barely). South Park has its funny moments. The Simpsons is FUNNY,
