It's sad to realize how we treat the jawans who give so much for us. It's common to see a jawan posted in an Indian city riding by on a lowly cycle while rash motorists in posh cars zoom all around him. Something tells me that that is not right.

We need to recognize the sacrifice our jawans make and pay them what they deserve, at least on par with the private sector. There's plenty of money in India, but it's in politicians' pockets.

Let's aim for an India that respects our jawans! Jai Hind!
