Aside from the betrayer that Sentinel Prime became, I think that this theme is perfect for him. This theme breeds an aura of ageless honor and reverence for one's ancestors. Think of the scene when Sentinel and Optimus are talking by the mountain ranges: at that moment I fell in love with this song as it was PERFECT for that scene!
IMHO this is one of the best orchestral pieces to any of the three TF movies!

@phily4life one thing I don't get though: why'd sentinel not take the matrix since he had already sided with the decepticons? I mean the matrix would probably be kinda useful to have...
1) He didn't see any sort of definite use for it since there was no energon harvesting machine to utilize with it, so in regards to rebuilding Cybertron it was not necessary to have.
2) He wanted the other Autobots to continue operating according to the Decepticons' plan and a cahnge in leadership more likely than not would have thrown a monkey wrench in that operation.
I assess that the latter reason was more likely than the first.
The music is too kindly for a baddie like Sentinel. But the music went beautifully well with the opening of the movie and the moon landing stuff. Pity the movie went downhill after that!

When a new character was introduced, it meant "Hey, another toy you have to buy!" Sorry, but it's true. If the toys didn't sell, you wouldn't have that show. I've watched the original G1 series, and I respect it for starting an awesome franchise. And then I found out we took the original concept from the Japanese. Yeah.

YOu make a good point, I also want to point out something. Autobots have blue eyes and Decepticons have red (constructicons and devastator don't count as they have yellow and green eyes). Now, look at Sentinel. In the beginning of the movie, he had blue eyes. Once his madness took over, you will see that they have become purple, which hint his allegiance in that he joined forces with the Decepticons. Michael Bay is brilliant for using symbolism like that.

Um, yes way. Bumblebee should have been killed by Soundwave when he was captured, thereby helping Sam to further develop in terms of character and helping him to understand the consequences of war.
If you didn't like the movie just because of one character dying, then your assessment is very narrow indeed. Don't remind me of the Ironhide fanatics, they were annoying. The movie has awesome music, the plot was great, the characters had their moments (and deaths), it was a great movie.

@Mathew1985AZ I would agree that this movie contains strong patriotism, for the autobots are stuck on earth exclusively with the US military. Also, Sam's story in 3 reflects a lot about the 'cutthroat' republic society in the US. At the same time, questions of the extraterrestrials really blended well with the dilemma to whether enslave or educate weaker lifeforms: especially on the powerful decisions made by the 3 leaders. We all have a dark side where we keep secrets, like the moon.

No screw that! We had TOO many decepticons dying and not enough Autobots dying. Bumblebee should have died, as well as the red twin (w/e his name was, I forgot) and maybe even Sideswipe.

Um, yes way. Bumblebee should have been killed by Soundwave when he was captured, thereby helping Sam to further develop in terms of character and helping him to understand the consequences of war.
If you didn't like the movie just because of one character dying, then your assessment is very narrow indeed. Don't remind me of the Ironhide fanatics, they were annoying. The movie has awesome music, the plot was great, the characters had their moments (and deaths), it was a great movie.

@KiraXBara456 Nonono, you have missunderstood :P I didnt like the end of the movie how the AutoBots was captured and a certain character I liked got killed.
I didnt say that I didnt hate the whole movie, I like all TF movies but I didnt like to see me fav Autobot die.
I did like IronHide but I am not crying why he had to die.

@KiraXBara456 I agree with you, Killing bumblebee would have really made a great story, and as you said sam could understand consequences of war, but I didn`t like how after Ironhide died, nobody spoke of his death after that, Optimus didn`t even mention his friend`s death, and it pissed me off how they could forget someone just like that

@roflman117 technically he didnt betray the autobots he did what he thought was right he thought that bringing cybertron to earth it would inshore there civilisation and before u say but he killed ironhide he had to kill him to make shore optimus and the autobots knew the seriousness of what he was doing

@RLC1700 Sentinel Prime represented a totalitarian.He was like hitler,raising a dead empire.Totalitarians will always say stuff like "the good of the many outweigh the good of the few". The movie is very patriotic for america...because the united states were founded as a constitution republic which protects the individual liberty against majority rule...at least it was suppose to. Now we have public unions,and socialist's who want to strip the individuals for the "good" of the majority.

@Mathew1985AZ I would agree that this movie contains strong patriotism, for the autobots are stuck on earth exclusively with the US military. Also, Sam's story in 3 reflects a lot about the 'cutthroat' republic society in the US. At the same time, questions of the extraterrestrials really blended well with the dilemma to whether enslave or educate weaker lifeforms: especially on the powerful decisions made by the 3 leaders. We all have a dark side where we keep secrets, like the moon.
