Mormonism is a lie, it is pretty natural 4 someone who has been LDS when they realize the lies & fraud that it is built upon, to turn to atheism. Satan designed it that way. Your pride & ego soar through the roof as you imagine the Mormon church to be the only true church. Then when you realize your only true church is a pack of lies, you assume every religious belief system is. The Bible however, teaches nearly opposite of everything that Mormonism teaches, & it is the word of the 1 true God.

@solarflare311 Mormonism is anything but Christian. Joseph Smith was a false prophet, who taught a false gospel. Revelation 22:18,19 gives strong warning against tampering with this revelation. Vs. 19 says if anyone takes away from the words of the revelation, that God will take away that persons part from the Book of Life. Joseph not only freely tampered with the words of the whole Bible, he added to and took away from the book of Revelation also.

Sorry, the Blasphemy Challenge doesn't work for Mormons, as they have a different view of what it means to deny the Holy Ghost. Just saying it doesn't cut it.

Also, to many Christians, just being a Mormon is the same or worse. It would be like a Buddhist saying it.

What changed is I thought about the doctrines and compared it with the observable universe and found them to be contradictory.

Also, those feelings I used to get as outlined in the video are still with me now but it's not a spirit bearing witness it's just a set of feelings and responses to things I feel passionately about. The mormon god cannot be real since these feelings are exactly the same.

No its not 50:50. The Mormon God is not real, because of the things he is supposed to say contradicts real things therefore he cannot be real.The chances of him being real is infinitesimally small so its not 50:50-the evidence points to no god.

I was a mormon for over 12-13 years,served a mission,went through the temple,got married in the temple.

I left when I was in full fellowship and seminary teacher.

I convinced that a personal god like the people profess to worship doesnt exist.
