What I was hoping to see is how to get those two extra lives and the health power up that are guarded by the tank HK. I see you didn't get them either, so I'm guessing SEGA was just teasing us. I dusted off my SEGA CD today and gave it a shot. Got to level 3 before getting wasted. Then I went and beat Sewer Shark instead.
For some reason, Sega got the best Terminator games.
Terminator for Sega Cd, Genesis and Master System are all great games, compared to the Nintendo versions. Nintendo versions probably sold better though...
I still have my sega CD but a play this only one time years ago, now for the very first time I see, this game has the same gameplay as Alien3 (Genesis).
Without even having to play the games, the Terminator series had always reminded me of the Mega Man franchise (Specifically, the Mega Man X series) for reasons that may or may not have seemed apparent.....
I see what you mean; the Mega Man X series had a dark theme to its story. Of course the Terminator franchise started way before the MMX series. But I always thought there was more to the X series despite that Capcom never bothered to do much with it in ways which even now remain untouched. It still has a lot of potential even now as I speak.
Oh, of course.... The Mega Man X series kicks ass. X7 was the biggest flop of all the Xs. However, X8 totally redeemed the franchise after that monkier fiasco that was X7.
Now in regards to my personal beliefs based on the fact that the MMX series reminds me of the Terminator series and vice versa, I have been saying that for almost 20 years now. I'll never forget it: I was 9 years old. That was when the 1st MMX was released. From that moment on between listening to the music, understanding the theme of an apocalyptic brink and viewing the futuristic undertones within the plot, the characters, the environments and the mayham.... I automatically thought Terminator.
Tell me about it. I think it was somewhere in between 1993 and 1994 when the first MMX game came out. Its been quite a while now and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Not many people see what you and I see in such a concept, but I always thought there was more to it. I like your analysis on the similarities between the two franchises by the way. It's quite precise and accurate.
well to make u happy if reese didnt dien would be cool, but if he didnt go back and did what he did goodbye mankind so actually we should thank reese not connor then again connor sends him shit can be confusing
id be better if reese went in a coma instead
also the pipe bomb exploded near the stairs reese was on the floor its kida wiered maybe he was too close to the blast
I remember this game's music vividly. The actual soundtrack was produced by Eddie Van Halen. I never forget reading that in the back of the instructions...

CAPTAINFALCON91991 2 years ago 7
With the exception of Terminator 2 on NES despite the fact that it was published by LJN.
The best three Terminator games would be:
1. The Terminator (Sega CD)
2. T2: The Arcade Game (not the arcade ports)
3. Terminator 2: Judgment Day (NES)

@CAPTAINFALCON91991 lets not forget terminator 2 the arcade game the best arcade gun game ever

Then again, I always wished he hadn't died.

The original Theme from Terminator game (sega cd) and movie, by Brad Fiedel!
And all others by Tommy Tallarico!
Tommy Tallarico is the best game composer!
This soundtrack is just fantastic!
Great game...

It doesn't actually say that, it just says "special musical thanks to" and lists his name. Perhaps he provided guitar on one or two tracks.

The soundtrack of this game was produced by Tommy Tallarico (of Virgin and Shiny fame), actually. Eddie Van Halen assisted.
