The only big difference is lead vocals, it's very different performing songs as energetic as Billy Talent's while remaining 'pitch perfect'. People who regularly see live music know this, the only people who seem to bitch about it are those who don'ty. On the contrary I prefer their live music to studio.

The reason lame pop singers succumb to lip synching is the fact they can't recreate it live. The only reason rock singers don't lip synch is because people like you prefer poor quality. It's not a big deal, to each their own, just don't put words in my mouth when you don't know what you're talking about.

Bands don't usually take festival performances to the studio; mostly club, theater and live studio sessions. I find it hard to see any just point in calling them a "studio band" because I regularly perform and watch live music. I think billy talent are one of the best live performers today.

@andord123 Agreed. The vocals are weak, and I'm not basing that on just this vid, but others I've seen. I don't want to say it's completely terrible, but weak, backups included. Yes, the band is tight, but it is just dissapointing when their recordings are so dynamic and the live stuff falls short. To me, that's what separates the greats from the goods. But as I said before, to each their own. I still like the recorded stuff, but probably don't have much desire to pay for a club ticket. Just me.
