  • Nice plane. You can get that thing a lot slower on landing and take off a lot sooner. I would imagine you figured that out by now and have a good feel for it. Nice job

  • Beautiful work. Interesting that your gear doesn't extend very far when unsprung. I have a 1958 L-60SF Brigadyr (N71GC) and love STOL flying.

  • I like how you kept the original nose shape by cutting through the nose cowling. Helps cool that big engine. Not very aerdoynamic, but not that it matters, that bird was not designed for speed anyway. Always loved the Storch. Looking to build one from kit (Slepcev). Nice work!

  • The engine is a Lycoming 0-540, 260 hp. Empty weight is 1432 lbs. Angle of incidence of the wings is 2.3 degrees, horizontal stabilizer is -1 degree.
