I think it's not fair to compare them. Poland is best suited for what he does here, which is amazing jazz improvisations. Broderick is great too, and although we haven't seen much of his work outside of metal, he's the ideal player for Megadeth at the time, both for playing the band's back catalogue and writing solos that fit the songs, something obvious on Endgame. Bottom line, they have many differences but also something in common, they are both guitar gods.

Personally and as a huge Poland fan then he gets the vote over Broderick but that's not to say that Chris B isn't also a fantastic guitarist as of course he is - as you say they are indeed different individuals and taste is a completely subjective thing.
Both guitar gods? Oh yes.
