  • Quit comparing yourself with the lukewarm church Ruben. You don't know how to speak the truth in love. You cannot expect to win people by condemning them. We have to endure preachers of condemnation according to Saint Paul, but that doesn't justify your methods. When you are in the world to come, you will know yourself as you are known and will no longer be able to sweep it under your homemade theo'ill'ogical carpet.

  • Im not saying that Christians are perfect because even as Christians we still sin. But a mark of a genuine Christian is that he is continuing to repent throughout his Christian life. Paul himself says that those things he wants to do he cannot do, and yet those things he doesn;t want to do he does anyway. We need to repent of our sins and believe upon Christ!!

  • Both John and Jesus said back in the gospels, "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. In psalm 5, it tells us that God is angry with sinners. A person's confession as Christ as Lord means absolutely nothing, even satan says that Jesus is Lord. If you say that there's no repentance, then your saying that a person who believes is saved and he can then do what he wants cause he doesn't have to repent. When your saved, you will have a new relationship with sin...you will HATE IT!!!

  • Oh, so you have to repent (quit sinning), believe, and be baptised? It's funny that you quote Acts 16:30, but then use a verse from early Acts to tell people what they must do to be saved.

For everyone reading this. DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS MAN. If you want to be saved, this is what the Apostle Pauls actually said.

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:31 KJV)

There is no Repent, and be Baptised here. READ THE BIBLE FOLKS!

  • Void, the word "repent" as used in the Bible doesn't always have ONE meaning and is referring to only ONE thing (from sin - as you say). It can mean "repent from unbelief" or "repent from going your own way", etc. Are you sure that Ruben's saying that you must quit sinning before you're born again or is he saying one should change his mind about his sin at the same time he calls upon the Lord?

  • I'm not against repentance. I'm against people saying a person must not only believe in the death burial and resurrection of Christ for salvation but that they must also repent and be baptised. This is not the gospel. Our apostle (Paul) never told ANYONE in his 13 letters which begin with the word "Paul" to repent and be baptised. No not once!

  • The sinner's prayer is merely a framework for people who may not know how to ask for God's forgiveness. We are all sinful, and so we all must repent. The prayer is not meant to be one handed down from Jesus himself in the gospel to be used as a crutch for sin. It is assumed that as a Christian you are already sincere in your belief and desire to repent, and in any case that's between you and God himself. Ultimately, each of us forms our own "sinner's prayer" that comes from our hearts.

  • The house in on fire, People are dying, cry out! or their blood will be on your hands.

  • I abhor the sinners prayer...

Stedfast repentance is the way to go...

    God be with you guys...

  • Thweword and The SPirit convertt preaching The Gospel will bring about repentance but that is an act of god man does not lead to Salvation The Order Of Salvation goes Regenraton-Faith-Justfication-Sactification-Glorification. Not Faith then Regeneration etc, etc,

  • So many churches today trample "grace" to death and accept NO responsibility for their sins. I believe most preachers only want to be popular and say what they think people want to hear. I think the "sinner's prayer" is one is satans best tools to make people think they are eternally safe and can still live anyway they want. It is sad that so many (including myself) fall prey to that method. Praise God for showing me the truth. God bless you for the work you are doing. Don't give up!

  • I don't necessarily think grace is being trampled to death, we're under grace, thank God for it! But Paul said, if we are under grace, do we continue to sin? God forbid! I believe we need to teach, train and allow young christians to grow in the Lord, that is how you raise a believer.

  • Yes they are,

Thank You and God Bless you

  • As many as I love I rebuke and chasten. Rev 3:19

  • And??? Is this good or bad concering me?? Or Rebenisrael.

    God Bless

    Danny

  • I agree. Rubens is too hard and the Hyper/Baptist Calvinst make it easier to pass a State bar exam then to become a bornagain Christian.

First I was impress with RebenIslael. God is and may very well be angry with the wicked everyday. But he also is loving God not willing that any man should perish.

These guys are to prideful to use a little love. Love covers a mulitude of sins. Love never fails.

Hey, check out some of my videos. Not all are ministry. Look at some earlier ones too.

    Danny

  • This "decision"asking stuff. Well, the Calvinst Baptist say you can not make a decision. One can not be saved unless God calls you. And God can't call you unless are one of the elect. Then he's very angry with us and wants to judge us. Hmmmm?

So if a street preacher tells us about Jesus.I'm confesed? How can anyone be saved? And how do you if know if you are one of God's elect. So we have a angry God that won't save us unless we are the elect. Why bother?

    But, I'm just being Facicious.

  • Yeah, well they are wrong on that matter. God has called ALL to repentence. Christ said those that seek me shall find me. The word also says whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. The Baptist is wrong on this matter.

  • The Calvin doctrine of predetermination is a bit misunderstood. It is true that God has predetermined those who he will elect, and it is also true we all have a choice to be saved. Doesn't make sense? Well, the truth is we all have free will to accept or deny our own salvation. However, God is infinite and omnipotent, therefore He already knows ahead of time who will choose to obey him and who will not. In essence, we have free will and are also predetermined, because God is all powerful.

  • This was a great interview!!!!

  • People out there will 'accept' Jesus to have some type of insurance policy. In other words, some so-called believer 'accepts' Jesus, then goes off & sins, ends up in the hospital, and says to themsleves "Good thing I accepted Jesus a few yrs back. I'm dying & going to heaven" ... This is using Jesus as some type of a policy 'insuring' the sinner they're going to heaven regardless how much they sinned & never read the bible, worshipped & prayed to Jesus. I feel for those folks.

    Blessings:+)

  • Dear bretheren, please consider that we primarily call people to repent and BELIEVE. So it´s not about calling people to make a decision primarily... salvation and true is a supernatural work - always!

    Yours,

    Michael

  • Spot on!

  • I'm re-downloading this series for showing to my future School of Evangelism (SOE) students here in Manila. Thanks for uploading these.

  • WOOT keep provoking people you are kicking ass all us Atheists dig your style

  • I just want to make one point about your ideas on repenting. Christ simply said believe on me and you'll be saved. Whosoever calls upon the name of God shall be saved. You mention drinking, let the holy spirit break the issues at hand, Rome wasn't built in a day so don't expect a new babe in Christ to suddenly be as mature as you are right now. That's bad theology and I don't preach that. I preach Christ and him crucified and that's all we do, preach the word, heal the sick, cast out demons.

  • ChadSummers, "Whosoever calls upon the name of God shall be saved", careful, the once saved always saved can be deceving; for example, people take that verse out of context & believe they can continue to sin (get drunk, do drugs, fornicate, etc) when they 'accepted' Jesus as Lord & Savior. We are not to continue to sin, we are to repent & follow Jesus - Blessings:+)

  • Where in the world did you get the theology of "eternal security" from? I do not believe in once saved always saved - I'm pentecostal. Now, as for sinning. Paul said we are in grace, but do we continue in our sins? God forbid. Let me make this clear, if you slip up, make a mistake wll Christ forgive you? Absolutely he will, that's the cross working. Now i don't condone drinking or fornicating for if there has been a real change, you won't do such actions, but we do fail sometimes 4 we are man.

  • Chad, True, Jesus does forgive, I believe that; He keeps cleansing us from all sin (1st John).

I agree, we're human & fall at times. But when someone committs the same sin over'n over agian like a broken record & feel no convictions, personally, I don't believe that person truly accepted Jesus as their Lord & Savior & maynot be saved.

    Blessings:+)

  • But that's the whole point of the gospel. You are to preach the word, cast out devils, heal the sick. The word said by their fruits you shall know them. You are to preach the LOVE of Christ, the word of God breaks the heart. Sure, some won't heed to the message, but if you don't preach the love of God then what gospel are you preaching???

  • ChadSummers, I agree but preaching the gospel isn't all peaches'n cream - sin, hell, satan, end times & repentance must be preahced. Jesus did say "Repent" to the unsaved when He preahced the good news (Mark 1:14-15) - Blessings:+)

  • did you know that Christ preached more on hell than any other topic? Sure, there is a place for everything and God through the Holy Spirit will give you direction, but the main core of the gospel is "repent" for judgement comes!! That is the gospel, that man is a sinner and needs a saviour and without Christ he will die lost and go to a devils hell. But the good news is that Christ came to deliver us from sin and death for which we ARE worthy of but through the blood we can be saved.

  • Chad, yes I do know Jesus preached about hell. I do believe that hell is real, whereas other Christians just think it's just a hot place. Hell is an eternal place of suffering & gnashing of teeth. Scary but true.

When accepting Jesus as Lord & Savior, repent & live the life the way Jesus wants us to live, we're free from damnation - hell's fire. We are God's children and we get to be w/Jesus for all eternity - Praise the Lamb the of God:+)

    Blessings:+)

  • thank you for this. God bless. Keep up the good work.
