I crashed a trainer almost the same way when I tried flying upside down the first time. It would be better to recover the plane by a half roll sidewards instead of a half loop downwards. From my first crash I learned that lesson and later avoided crashing another plane by this way.
i agree . the crash was total piolet error i was also using a 11/7 prop and should have had a 12/10 on. i was at full throttle loosing altitude and this 72inch cub rolls so slow i was sure it would not make it so i tryed what i did and stalled the wing and crashed. im ok and i have a new cub lol. plus a new one in the box . i like this plane from will hobbys. its a great electric conversion plane as i use cheep 30 dollar brushless and a 3cell lipo i will make a video of my new at6 texan
@randyneighbour nice crash. haha. it happens to all of us. I have been flying rcs for a LONG time now and one thing I have learned is that flat bottom wings dont do well inverted and always start inverted up high and ready to roll if it wont sustain altitude or ready to snap roll it out. just depends on the model. I crashed one on approach due to interference, It rolled it upside down and i was trying to roll out and didnt make it :( looked kind of the same.
yahoo she is fixed.. watching video now .. Lets see how she flys....Very nice . Smooth like she never fell. Nice inverted. ah was that stall or pilot error? ouch to much damage that time.. She is a black cloud i guess..
Limit your elevator some. Plane stalled and snapped coming out of the loop. You had the height just a little too much pull on the elevator.
