  • Another example of women being reduced to objects of sexual desire. Granted, more awareness about Autism is a good thing, but it shouldn't be done like this. This is dumb, and it reduces a very serious subject to boobs and asses. Why not just show a few Autistic kids playing? Guess that doesn't appeal the eye quite as much...Stupid people only care about something if hot women are paraded around in the process.

  • You may get hits with this video - but you lose a lot of respect for your cause by using sex to make a point. Sorry - a ligit topic and you just ruined an opportunity to educate with class.

  • @dpatrick1002 Go back to the Babble Belt and leave those of us who are grown up enough to admire beauty and nature in peace, thank you very much.

  • Would one of u please cite legitimate scientific study that links vaccines and autism. People...science, not opinion.

  • Ok, if vaccinating your child causes autism, then why am I not autistic? Or my parents? Or my cousins? Or my neighbours?

Autism is genetic. If vaccines were responsible for autism, then everyone who got vaccinated would be at risk of having autism. It's not a disease, it's just a difference in the person's genetics.

  • @akissy - Genetics? And they call us uninformed. Listen, the rate of autism per child is one in 139. This is EPIDEMIC levels. There is no such thing as a genetic epidemic. It is IMPOSSIBLE. Genetics (such a broad term) can definitely be attributed to some of the cases of autism reported, but to blame them entirely is ignorant beyond all comprehension. The fact is, no one is entirely sure what causes autism. But it can't be vaccines, right? So narrow-minded. Keep your mind open till we know 100%.

  • @iDarkAvatar89 Please stop revising the numbers down, it makes you look foolish. And of all the reputable doctors studying autism, not one of them agrees with one word you say (in fact this is how autistic adults can discern a doctor worth his salt from one who is not).

If there is no such thing as a genetic epidemic, then why does diabetes tend to pick on families? And I can assure you as an autistic adult that given a choice between diabetic and autistic, autistic wins every single time.

  • @aspie182 - Aspie, I also am an autistic adult. Understand that you do not speak for all of us.

Also, are you trying to tell me that diabetes is 100% genetics? Because if you aren't, your point is irrelevant.

  • @iDarkAvatar89 I do not believe you. How does that grab you? And if you are trying to tell us we want to be cured of what makes us different from people who have abused and violated us, then you speak for NONE of us. Got that?

My point was actually more along the lines of thus: Come to my door telling me you have a complete cure for my diabetes, and I will kiss the ground you walk on. Come to my door telling me you have the cure for autism, and I will blow your head off without hesitation.

  • Lol... funny now people win in court. Sad people do not know how the world works. vaccinations cause autism, This is a fact now. Try to keep up people.

  • @douglasjoe1 No actually it's that they don't cause autism that's the fact.

  • @douglasjoe1 Lawyers are not scientists, and as the entire community of autistic adults has been trying to tell vermin like you for a long time, we can determine who is credible to testify about autism just by whether they support the lies in which you lay or not.

If vaccines absolutely cause autism, then please explain why amidst a large extended family who were all vaccinated at the same ages, I am the only one who is autistic. Goal-post moving not allowed, by the way.

  • @aspie182 - I don't think any knowledgeable person would claim that vaccines are the sole culprit in the rise of autism rates. Even so, some common sense would easily answer your question. It is well-understood that measles can lead to encephalitis. Does this mean that every person who contracts measles will develop inflammation of the brain? No. People are different. So are our environments. We do not all respond in the exact same way to certain external stimuli as one another.

  • @iDarkAvatar89 "Waaah people point at my intellectual penis and laugh, let's go the common sense road!"

I grow tired of trying to get you to understand my point. I do not need questions answered by the like of you. When I need to ask a question, I know who to go to, and you are not it. So I will reiterate. If you come near me and I know about it, you best be waving a white flag, because your world of common sense is one I want no part of.

  • @aspie182 - You are unable to get me to understand your point because it is a weak one that collapses under close inspection and because you seem unable to defend it when I point out its flaws, instead relying on poorly-lobbed word grenades that mean very little to me. I suggest you study up a bit before trying to publicly defend your position on a topic as touchy as this.

  • @iDarkAvatar89 No, moron. You refuse to understand my point because it is an irrefutable one that the curebie movement you speak for cannot address without tiresome gambits like the ones to which you resort. You have tried to pretend to be one of us, you have cried "common sense" without any understanding of how common sense means fukk all, and now you want to claim default victory. And yet you wonder why those of us who are really on the spectrum feel nothing but hostility towards your ilk.

  • @aspie182 - And the "why aren't we ALL brain-damaged from vaccines" point you put forward isn't tiresome? Aspie, I debate this topic at length with doctors and scientists who have far more than the rudimentary understanding of the topic that you have displayed. Compared to them, you're as mouthy and as ill-informed as some of the more vulgar and moronic individuals that plague both sides of this debate. If you listen half as much as you mouth off, you may actually learn something.

  • I'm not debating the topic of vaccine's connection to autism. I'm just wondering why this video is making its point in what I am amusing to be a very abstract sarcasm, precisely the type of dramatic or verbal device that baffles many if not most on the Autism spectrum. I say this as one who has AS but can easily recognize sarcasm. I had to start reading the comments before I could understand what stance the video is making.

  • @paradoxical42 I think it's more along the lines that the thumbnail picture that promotes people to click on a video to watch it, is of a half naked woman. Sex sells. Period. And if 30k+ people will watch this, maybe somebody would listen.

  • thisis3rd said, "i also got the regular flu shot, chicken pox shot, tetanus, booster shots, i don't know what all i've got"

AHAHAHA AHAHAHA You're not kidding are you?

'A society whose citizens refuse to see and investigate the facts, who refuse to believe that their government and their media will routinely lie to them and fabricate a reality contrary to verifiable facts, is a society that chooses and deserves the Police State Dictatorship it's going to get.' - Ian Williams Goddard

  • Hi my name is Paris Hilton and I don't wear underwear!

Wan't a vaccination??? I know all you dumb little boys do!

  • well polio, mumps, measles, and rubella are all pretty horrible.

  • They are giving vaccinations for A LOT more than those these days. Have you seen the schedule for little kids?

Clean living, refrigeration and good nutrition are a HUGE reason for the decrease in diseases as well. Big Pharma will argue that!

Go ahead and get your H1N1 shot, no one is stopping you. You might want to read what the manufacturer says about it though.

I was disabled by a tetanus shot 10 years ago. Drug companies and doctors all said it was a coincidence. IT WASN'T!

  • In which way were you affected by a tetanus shot ?

  • It's a long story that I have already spent many hour explaining on other Youtube sites. It's a neurological condition that was reactivated and worsened as soon as I received the tetanus shot.

It was a mistake for me to take this vaccine that resulted in me loosing my ability to walk. I am in great pain, lost everything and can no longer care for myself.

Big Pharma and doctors ran, like hell, away from me and I had no back up during this time. Everything is a "coincidence".

  • already got the h1n1 shot Einstein. i also got the regular flu shot, chicken pox shot, tetanus, booster shots, i don't know what all i've got. clean living can be bad, if you constantly use antibacterial soap you won't build an immune system and you will get sick a lot more often. let your kids play in the dirt and eat food off the floor. it makes them stronger. also get your shots.

  • I know that. You're the one who called it mercury and either way, you're still dead wrong. It's not in vaccines anymore, with the exception of some flu vaccines.

  • apparently so do tin foil hats

  • Zing!

  • There is no mercury in vaccines anymore, tool.

  • most people with Autism are missing a huge number of base pairs in their DNA. Also their is more mercury in fish then there is in a vaccine. the mercury in vaccines leaves the body in 44 days, and it isn't even enough to be toxic. my fillings probably have way more mercury then a vaccine, and they have been proven save for many years now. fun fact for you while im at it, breast milk contains more aluminum then vaccines. i have had many vaccines, guess what, no Autism

  • This ad is pure win!! :)

  • stupid video... try sending a message without trying to sway the audience without using boobs

  • Interesting video. Keep up the good work and I wonder if Leeann is single? Sorry if I am dork but being a part of the autistic spectrum makes it hard to find a date or someone to be with. I was diagnosed with PDD-NOS in the 80s and now I have a Bachelor's degree and have a semi-regular job.

  • Lizdehart--why so angry? All these videos are saying is rely on science. All medical progress throughout history has depended on that.

  • If you want the truth about autism - Rethink autism is NOT the place for it.

  • Don't know about Rethink Autism, but RethinkING Autism is a good site.

  • They really think the people are idiots-this ad is an insult to any intelligent person. Check out the Judge Rotenberg Center of CHILD TORTURE, RAPE, AND MURDER-and tell the Committee on Families and Children in MASS what you think of this hell-hole.

  • The more you science you read about autism, the more you understand that the only people who believe in the link between autism and vaccinations are not scientists, but uninformed alarmists like Jenny McCarthy and Oprah.

The person who produced this vid has a child with autism, and was sick of all the disinformation that swarms around this topic.

Please inform yourselves, instead of spreading harmful propaganda about the supposed link between autism and vaccines.

  • You forgot its not just uninformed alarmists making these claims, but greedy lawyers too.

  • @fckthssht and pharma companies with the denials lets not forget

  • What was misleading in the text?

  • Everything - considering that rethinkautism is a FOR PROFIT company that is making money of of behavioral therapy instead of getting to the root of the cause.

Disgusting - like vultures praying on the parents of sick children.

  • While its pretty clear that there is no scientific link between autism and vaccines its is obviously a problem with the biology of the brain and not a psychological problem.

  • You are confusing Rethink Autism with RethinkING Autism. Check the website before making false charges.

  • People who call this "pathetic propaganda" have completely missed the point. I applaud the video maker for shining the light of truth on a subject while maintaining their sense of humor. If you care about children with autism then demand more science.

  • Oh I see, a nice lady on the commercial told me, that must make it true.

  • nice video but what is autism to do with that lady

  • Nice.

  • Ah, thanks to Atheist Media Blog for discovering this channel.

With antivax denialism, we find a case study for should-be-illegal levels of stupidity.

  • Fantastic Video!

  • Thank you. Please send this to the morons who buy into McCarthy's bull.

  • Hurricanejbb i could not aggree more. This personal vendeta that McCarthy has is causing mass hysteria and cause kids to get sick or miss school because they dont have their shots. Can someone please tell McCarthy that it's only been proved 100 times that there is not connection

  • Great work, guys!
