I actually saw a tornado on my left while driving next to fields, then it jumped over me and a second one dropped next to me on my right. It was loud, green, and sounded like a continuous roll of thunder from a close lightning strike, a crashing sound.

We seem to be in North Platte a lot! We always stay at the Holiday In Express. Same thing up the highway in Ogallala, the Holiday Inn Xpress. I've seen LOTS of tornadoes in those sandhills north of N. Platte. I love Nebraska!
