Personally I loved the campaign. It is amazing. Although I haven't played Halo 1 or 2 so I really can't say if they were better than Halo 3. But I loved Halo 3 and I love Reach. Probably two of the best games ever made!
@Dradley2015 halo 2 and 1 have better cmapaign than 3 both are aviable for the pc you should pick them up or pick up halo aniversary for the 360 and halo 2 for the pc

Uh no actually, Modern Warfare 2 is complete garbage. The game has a ridiculous sense of gameplay and the way multiplayer plays out. Glitches are abundant, network manipulation very common, abusers around every corner. And that is not even talking about the shortcomings of the game engine itself, such as the fact that it lacks true physics and has purely simulated graphics and lighting effects.

Ok ODST definately isn't worth 60 bucks. It's exactly like Halo 3 with a couple new features. It's only good if you don't have Halo 3, but then you should just buy 3 instead of ODST.
ODST is just a fanboy tax. Only fanboys will want it, because there's just not enough content for it to be worth $60. Hell, for $60, I could buy 4-5 games off of Steam which will have more than 10 times as much content as ODST.
@metalwreck450 odst is not just a fanboy game it follows the story of a odst squad and tells you what is going on between halo 2-3 and it features firefight too. It is not only a fanboy game because it is great for new players to the halo franchise as it comes with all halo 3 DLC
@metalwreck450 ODST has the 3rd best campaign of all the Halo games (my opinion) and it offers 4 player online co-op (2 player offline), 4 player firefight mode with....8 firefight maps I think? and it also comes with a bonus disc that includes the full Halo 3 multiplayer experience with all map packs for Halo 3 included, I'd say its worth 60$.

Yea, the campaign was pretty redundant. But it had its special moments and was hard enough on legendary.. But it's sadly the easiest of the 3 games due to the overpowered weapons.

My main problem with Halo 3 is that if you don't have online, most of the fun of replying the modes is cut in half. Then your forced to go find someone to play campaign with you if you want that kind of fun.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but it's MAINLY a multiplayer game.
IT is great. But if you have a friend, beating it on co-op splitscreen makes for a much better experience. And it fixes the problem of two people being the master cheif. One will be the master cheif, and teh other the arbiter.
totally agree about the arbiter's story line being cut short, although I thought the story was still awesome, i think they did sought of ignore that whole other element that was created in halo 2, maybe bungee'll just make another game to finish of that story arc, money grabbing bastards!

I bet that if microsoft would of went with blu-ray on the 360 halo 3 would have been a much longer game.
Reasons:
1: Blu-ray discs have a whole sh*t load of more memory space and bungie could have put a lot more levels but they probably were running out of memory with a dvd.
its got more space than a normal disk + i dont know what you mean by regular disk x-box use HD disks a bluray disk is like a megacharged HD disk anyway.
Blu-ray isn't good for games, it makes loading time long(unless you want to install to the hard rive). and if a game needs more than 15GB, it's a big game, like flight simulator used 20GB. I think when you intall Halo 3 to your hard drive it takes up 6GB.
i just got it yesterday and how do you put computer players in to a custom game so you can just play capture the flag 1player and add comps to make 4 players total.
I prefer cod4 to halo 3 but im a bit unsure about "this is the best game ever made" coz surley many people would have different veiwpoints and opinion and they might go for a different game instead of halo 3 but i could be wrong but its my opinion your opinion might be different and id respect that. sorry about my spelling mistakes im sh*t at spelling.

Sure they are good FPS, but there are games like Fallout 3, Bioshock, Modern Warfare 1 & 2 (which are a lot better multyplayer games than Halo).
The replay feature is, however, AWESOME!

Yea, the campaign was pretty redundant. But it had its special moments and was hard enough on legendary.. But it's sadly the easiest of the 3 games due to the overpowered weapons.

the only reason why so many play it is becouse it had so much hype, good "reviews"(more like praise from xbox fanboys)
and online.... there are so much better games with are underated but games like halo 3 goes out like a fat kid in a small hallway and makes all the other guys allmost invisible... and nobody likes fat kids

@holmborn bioshock is good, call of duty sucks balls. fallout 3 is average. you really suck at scoring games. this review is perfect. halo 3's offline play sucks monkey balls. but once you play online, this game is probably the best shooter on the xbox 360. bar none.

My main problem with Halo 3 is that if you don't have online, most of the fun of replying the modes is cut in half. Then your forced to go find someone to play campaign with you if you want that kind of fun.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but it's MAINLY a multiplayer game.

IT is great. But if you have a friend, beating it on co-op splitscreen makes for a much better experience. And it fixes the problem of two people being the master cheif. One will be the master cheif, and teh other the arbiter.

totally agree about the arbiter's story line being cut short, although I thought the story was still awesome, i think they did sought of ignore that whole other element that was created in halo 2, maybe bungee'll just make another game to finish of that story arc, money grabbing bastards!

I bet that if microsoft would of went with blu-ray on the 360 halo 3 would have been a much longer game.
Reasons:
1: Blu-ray discs have a whole sh*t load of more memory space and bungie could have put a lot more levels but they probably were running out of memory with a dvd.
2: blu-ray is bad ass
3: no three sorry

1. Blue ray is so freaking slow, that you have to download something to make it faster, which makes all the extra space completely useless...
2. Why buy blue ray, when you can get a regular disc for less?

its got more space than a normal disk + i dont know what you mean by regular disk x-box use HD disks a bluray disk is like a megacharged HD disk anyway.

Blu-ray isn't good for games, it makes loading time long(unless you want to install to the hard rive). and if a game needs more than 15GB, it's a big game, like flight simulator used 20GB. I think when you intall Halo 3 to your hard drive it takes up 6GB.
