It is not guilt or fear of acknowledging God is real. It is just down right stupid. Why should i beg, plead and pray for everything I need and want in life when he is not there you delusional fucktards.....Accept the fact that we REALLY dont know our origin and live a life of joy and love. We as mankind is fucking up this beautiful planet and here we are listening and learning what these so-called intelligent fools are saying to us??? Ya got to be a moron to believe in such bullshit.
This is stupid... they took a stupid concept and put it in the mouths of all athiests. Good job. You automatically assume that all athiests believe that some stupid shit like Charlie exists. No, that is for the people who believe in multiverses. Since When did all Athiests somehow magically become people who believe in multiverses? Stupid reasoning by stupid people who don't believe in Santa, and somehow find it ok to believe in a god.
Actually if there were multi-universes its great for proving religion too... And none of this is scientist its more philosophical based but you guys come here to get told what to think -_- . As long as people look to be told what to believe by other humans then people will continue to believe crap like evolution. Think for yourself people
There are loads of crap, and then there are videos like this. Its a funny way to spend a few minutes listening to someone talk about something they have no idea about, but at a point it gets pretty annoying. For instance, that part where he quotes Francis Crick and calls it brainwashing. Yeah, contradict yourself much? Nothing about brainwashing in the bible...
Its cute that you think you can play with the big boy scientists, but just make sure you keep your crap on youtube and out of our way.
I didn't even watch your video because it seems like it would be biased and try to tell me creation is a scientific fact bye using the Watchmaker strawman, or others like it. I'm just commenting on your title.
Creation is a scientific fact. Things are created therefore it is. However, The hypothesis that humans were created by a supernatural being is just that, a hypothesis. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but creationism is as much as a fact as abiogenesis.
@Ye4hBuddy Way to be scientific. Good job. Nothing like rejecting the learned wisdom and efforts of hundreds of physicists, chemists, biologists, and even philosophers who actually seek truth and to their dismay- sometimes find it.
Why don't you watch the videos in all parts to better educate yourself on what to research so you can fight us pea brained Christians. Ya know, fight the enemy of ignorance through knowledge? Part of that is knowing the science behind such ignorant theories, no?
@cavscout1983 These are classic Creationist/Intelligent Design arguments. Essentially what happens is: Science proves something, then Creationists say "Well how did that happen?", then Science proves that, then Creationists say "Well how did that happen?", and the cycle continues. It's extremely childish. It is comparable to a kid asking something, then constantly asking "Why?". There is no end. It is quite annoying how incessant Creation "science" is.
@Ye4hBuddy the last bit of your reply would be more accurate and apropos if it read as follows: "It is comparable to a kid asking something, then constantly asking "Why?". There is no end. It is quite annoying how incessant "science" is."
Why, answer, why, answer, why- is the basis of science. If you're not asking "why", you're drinking someone else's kool-aid.
I research these things as I can, within my own scientific understanding, because it would be insulting to God to NOT ask why.
@cavscout1983 Actually, if you would ask "Why" about your God, then you would come to the same conclusion as I have. There is absolutely no evidence for a God, therefore it is a reasonable conclusion to say that there is no God. Also, Creation "science" is the complete rejection of most of the scientific principles we have today. Creation "science" has a conclusion it wants to be right, so then it morphs information to make it seem correct, when in reality the observations it uses are false.
Now you've got 'em pegged brother! So true! 1:35- "The essence of atheism is:- They fear personal acountability to God."
Atheist, just what is it you've done that's so bad that your maker, your manufacturer, your father won't forgive you for? Is it that bad? BTW, don't take what the church tells you as gospel 'coz churches are full of hypocrites. Find out for yourself, I did and vids like this one are where it's at!
@watsisname I didn't elaborate 'coz there's no room here, but it's found in the mind. Subconsciously understanding that there is proof everywhere (right in our faces) of the God that created life. The conscious mind refuses to believe in it. Mostly because of the hypocrisy of the churches who are turning people with a sound mind, smart people, into atheists. The cause of the contention here is the fact that subconsciously, atheists do believe!
The real fight is with the hypocrisy of the church!
I don't find that to be an adequate answer to my original question.
"Subconsciously understanding that there is proof everywhere (right in our faces) of the God that created life." --> You mean "having faith"? Sorry, faith =/= proof. If I have faith that there are teapots orbiting Jupiter, is that proof that they're there?
"The cause of the contention here is the fact that subconsciously, atheists do believe!" --> That's a very laughable claim. Completely false, too. :)
@watsisname "...a completely laughable claim". That's just an opinion. The relation of faith in God the creator to faith in a ridiculous notion about "teapots" & proof of the two concepts stupid.Faith is required in God because He's mysterious.Proof of what is claimed about Him is everywhere!
Perhaps you need to look into the relationship between the subconscious & the conscious. Hmm?
I seem to have gone over your head. All your interested in is opinions & contentious talk.
@watsisname Are you afraid that if you open your mind you'll get hurt or something? It doesn't hurt, it feels good. It's very empowering (on a personal level).
You people are just scared of being humiliated for being wrong.Any person with an oz. of understanding, a slightly open mind will agree with what I've said here.
Your loss. You don't have to be too proud to open up,too ignorant to miss out on what's on offer. You still have the decision to make AFTER you open your mind.
"You people are just scared of being humiliated for being wrong. [etc]"
-->You do not make your arguments sound any more convincing when you suggest that I am closed minded, am afraid of being humiliated, or lack understanding. I could just as easily have said the same things to you, but evidently I am more polite than you are. Funny that a Christian would be more insulting than an atheist, isn't it?
That's all I have for now, mate. Talk with you later. :)
@watsisname True Christians (like me) are warriors, fighting to defend the souls of people like you. War isn't polite. It's not easy to be human & be close to God. But it's worth it!
I answered your question but you're not in agreement with it, that's all. Like I said, you're choice.
You could've said the same things to me but you didn't 'coz it just would've made you look even more stupid. You're stupid but you're not that stupid! Too proud to act the fool consciously, but you've done it now.
"True Christians (like me) are warriors [etc]" --> This doesn't support why you'd be insulting. Didn't Jesus teach people to be kind unto others?
"I answered your question but you're not in agreement with it [etc]" --> No, you called it stupid. I can call any question stupid, but that doesn't qualify as answering it. Try again.
"You could've said the same things to me but you didn't 'coz it just would've made you look even more stupid." --> Thanks for supporting my point. :)
"That's just an opinion." That doesn't change the fact that your claim that "atheists fear personal accountability to God" was wrong. :)
"Perhaps you need to look into the relationship between the subconscious & the conscious. Hmm?" --> I am well versed in psychology, thank you. :) How about yourself? I don't think you'd make definitive claims about the subconscious of an entire group of people you do not belong to, if you knew anything about the study of psychology. ;)
@watsisname But I do belong to the group of people you're talking about.I am a person. Atheism is a spirit. A belief system. Otherwise it wouldn't be referred to as an "ism".
You just don't get it you poor soul. I real do feel for the God that maintains your life. How He must feel, I couldn't stand it!
You're not listening to me!
You've been shown time and time again but you refuse to open up! You continue to try for "points".
"But I do belong to the group of people you're talking about.I am a person." --> You may be a person, but that doesn't make you belong to the group of people known as atheists. Only atheists belong to the group of people known as atheists. Are you an atheist?
"Atheism is a spirit. A belief system. [etc]" --> Atheism may be considered a belief system, but that doesn't help to support your previous claim.
"You're not listening to me!" --> Yes I am. Are you listening to me?
"The relation of faith in God the creator to faith in a ridiculous notion about "teapots" & proof of the two concepts stupid." --> You can't answer my question, so instead you call it stupid. Heh.
"Faith is required in God because He's mysterious" --> My proposed teapots orbiting Jupiter are mysterious, too. My point stands. :)
"Proof of what is claimed about Him is everywhere!" --> I thought the only proof you had was that you had faith? Well I have faith in those teacups. :)
@watsisname That is the answer. It's a stupid question! If you think that it is valid, you then are as stupid as the question you ask! GET IT NOW?
I've had enough, you're obviously just interested in banging your head, I'm not. I don't bang my head on brick walls. I tried to get the truth to you. Don't say no-one ever tried. BTW I'm not looking for points here. I just don't want anyone to lose what's on offer. God bless you (YES I mean that!) God bless you.
"That is the answer. It's a stupid question!" -->
You haven't once supported your claim that it was a stupid question. I have supported my claim that it is not a stupid question. You still haven't answered it.
"I've had enough [etc]" --> Very well. I'm sorry you can't better support your claim that "atheists fear personal acountability to God." :)
"I seem to have gone over your head. All your interested in is opinions & contentious talk." --> Hardly. :) So far you haven't answered my previous questions adequately. I'm waiting for you to do so.
"Open your mind!" --> My mind is very open, thank you. How about yours?
"Are you afraid that if you open your mind you'll get hurt or something?" --> Nope, how about yourself?
"It's not a contest!"
--> I agree. It's a friendly debate. :) Why are you being so defensive?
@watsisname You're so childish! You're doing the "I know you are but what am I?" thing that 5 yr old kindy kids do when someone calls them a name. You've brought a smile to my face!
"You're so childish! You're doing the "I know you are but what am I?" thing that 5 yr old kindy kids do when someone calls them a name. You've brought a smile to my face! "
It's hilarious to see your comments go from friendly and meaningful to hostile and childish so quickly. Try to exercise some more self control.
are you fucking stupid? seriously, EVERYTHING you said in all these videos showed complete ignorance of science and could easily been refuted by an educated 12 year old. NOTHING you said in any of these videos is new your spiting out the same old bull shit that creationists speakers say everyday, and get proven wrong everyday. the only thing your doing is puting some feeling music in the bacround and do some fancy editing and all of a suden your bronze age myth is proven correct.you sicken me...
@trakkaton How is the multiple universe theory real science??? The obvious fact is that it is just a fairy tale made up by atheist/evolutionist. Creationism isn't a theory, but a indisputable fact. The Big Bang theory is the fiction that scientist can't prove, they can't test it, and they hadn't observed it.
b.t.w. Nobody has seen God to know that he is a white bearded guy and he is not in the clouds. :p
"Creationism isn't a theory, but a indisputable fact."
I, and the consensus of geologists, physicists, and astronomers, dispute creationism. Therefore creationism is disputable.
"The Big Bang theory is the fiction that scientist can't prove, they can't test it, and they hadn't observed it." It is not a fiction, it is provable, it is testable, and it is observable. Obviously you have never studied astronomy. I suggest you do so before making claims like that one.
@watsisname Yeah you guys, "scientists" have been disputing it for decades & have proven nothing!
When they find the missing link, when they reproduce "the big bang" in a laboratory, when they can refute the fact that the Earth is what sustains us and that our physical composition is made of Earth and returns there because of that, and so on, etc, etc. Then I will start to believe that they've got some proof.Until, I'll stick to what I know & you will not change MY mind! You will miss out!
Creationism is an indisputable fact? Wow, that is the most ridiculous claim I've seen for a long time. It is so ridiculous that I don't even need to argue about that. By the way, learn to read, you fuckhead. I don't know to which comment you replied, but it obviously wasn't mine.
@trakkaton Even if you tried to argue against creationism that would make you look ridiculous do to the mountain of evidence that supports Creationism. Real science has already proven that the evolution theory has failed.
@watsisname Evolution is known as "Pseudo-science" because it is still a theory. If it ever gets proven, then it will be a law. Until then, it's only an accepted, plausible THEORY!
The word 'real' has to be used here for poor people who have been tricked by all the scientific words used in Darwin's THEORY by people in & around the scientific fields who hold a grudge against God. I could tell you more but this should be enough. You have to search for yourself (if you're interested in the truth).
wow first off if we new it all then there would be no arugument there is evedience and if you belive theres othere life forms dont mean you dont belive in god for example i belive there might be so other kind of life somerwhere and i belvie in god
ppl are so dumb with these arugments like i said if we new how everything worked and the way things where then we would have theories wich might i add none of them can explain every thing so b 4 u try and sound smart and think just because there might be life somwhere in space then ur a dumbass flat out all im saying is theres more planets then grians of sad on earth so belive what you want but ur not compltly right or wrong no matter what in the after life then you will no the answers
Worship GOD not Jesus(pbuh) - John 5:30 "I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. - Jesus(pbuh) - Allahu Akbar!!!!
*Cough* Expelled was not a documentary. It was a compilation of inarticulate babbling nonsense.
Science is prejudicial but it is not arbitrary. Those who where "persecuted" where guilty of academic misconduct and violated academic integrity. They violated the terms of their contracts or acted to violate the review process required and were caught and subsequently terminated. The film did not honestly present their actual positions or reasons for being discharged.
Fine tuning is not falsifiable. It requires a fine tuner explained outside of natural means and is supernatural and therefore may not be defined. There is absolutely no evidence of fine tuning in the universe.
Go ahead, name one anyone who reads this.
Fine tuning is not required. We are the product of nature and only now are looking back and saying that it must have been tuned for our existence. This is fallacious reasoning.
The reason why evolution is credited over creationism is because there is extremely strong tangible evidence and practical applications of the theory of evolution.
Though m-theory is posited as a hypothesis, the theory of evolution is a sound scientific theory which explains the observed natural phenomena of nature without having to ascribe to supernatural irrationality. It has demonstrated itself to be extremely reliable and is considered to be fact in the same manner as the theory of gravity.
Multiverse theory was posited as a possible explanation and has never been proven. This is why multiverse theory is not a scientific theory.
Furthermore, the assertion that multiverse theory is directly or implicitly attributed to atheism is nonsensical. Faith in God and multiverse theory are not mutually exclusive unless you define it to be so. Discrediting m-theory does not discredit atheism. Atheism, is after all, defined as the lack of belief in the supernatural. Its a form of skepticism.
This is such a load of crap. There is a reason why multiverse theory is a hypothesis and not a scientific theory. An attempt to discredit science as a whole because of a hypothesis is fundamentally absurd. Perhaps what the narrator was trying to convey was that man has no basis next to a supposed God. Regardless, whether or not you ascribe to the possibility of multiverse theory, and there are interesting reasons to do so, does not discredit in anyway previous works of science.
As Christians, we have been instructed by God to live a moral life and spread his word. What motivates atheists? For them there is no creator, there is no god, the only thing they have to look forward to is death. Why are they so anxious to take others with them?
you know what it is wierd though? since i made my account and starting searching creationism i have had ALOT of atheists attempt to debunk my beliefs almost everyday! its annoying and absurd, they don't even have ground to stand on, they say Christ is a myth via zeitgeist but that got destroyed by scholars. i think they know where they're going and want more with them
What facts???? You keep mentioning the facts, by you don't show even one fact for a creator. If you argue that you have facts to support your theories then SHOW the facts, just repeatedly stating you have facts doesn't prove anything.
If this is the best you can do, it's pathetic and in fact your proving atheists right.
"Epic fail"? (Interesting grammar you have there.)
The point of these videos ("Creation is a Scientific Fact") wasn't as much to prove that God was real, as much as He is, but to prove that atheism was less supportable. (Despite the miss-leading title.)
Everything that he's talked about that's relative to physics, he's gotten from scientists, and even stated who said it. So, what your really stating, is that those scientists are wrong. ;)
Atheists, as well, have to go by faith. Somewhere down the line, your going to have to believe that something is this or that way, no matter what your belief, without substantial proof. Which better place than to put my faith in, than with God, I ask.
If I may ask, which belief in atheism do you believe? (Like, how the universe was created, etc.)
I'm willing to bet, somewhere down the line, there isn't 100% proof that it's true, and you'll have to rely
Atheism is the disbelieve in god, nothing more nothing less.
Atheism has got nothing to do with evolution or abiogenesis, or the big bang theory.
My Atheism has got no bearing on my knowledge about evolution or the big bang.
They are not related. You can be an Atheist and still not believe in evolution or the big bang theory. I happen to subscribe to the big bang theory and evolution, not because I'm an Atheist. But because I'm an intelligent curious being.
I wasn't saying your grammar as a whole was bad/incorrect; I'm sorry if it looked that way. I just thought the term "Epic fail" was very kidish.
I guess that's true, if you don't believe in anything. Surely, you must believe in something though, or you'd just be ignorant. Surely you wonder how we came to origin. Since your watching these videos, I'm assuming your trying to find one that best fits.
As I said, faith is truly best put towards God. =)
We can never know if there is a god or not, but we do know how the Universe got started. We know how life started, and we know how the first living organisms evolved. Theres nothing supernatural about these events, just physics and chemistry. Creationists usually believe that the bible is true word for word, that has been debunked time after time. So if the bible is wrong about so many things, why should we believe in genesis? Why would you worship a god from a book you know is incorrect?
In Levitus, the cure for leprosy involves dipping a bird in another birds blood and and sprinkling it around the house seven times.
Is this an incorrect interpretation (I suppose depending on which Bible you use). It appears fairly straight forward, which is quite uncharacteristic of the Bibles quixotic nature.
When it came down to it, however, most atheists still didn't want to believe in a fine-tuner; they hung on to their m-theory. Why? Maybe you can tell me.
I spent months talking to people such as yourself and lost a lot of time, with few of them willing to be open-minded of the possibility of a fine-tuner.
If your open to the possibility, and your not going to waste my time, I'll be sure not to waste yours and we can have a real debate.
The contention was not about m-theory. It is an interesting idea, however, is in absolutely no way a dependent term of atheism. Likewise, atheism does not requite m-theory.
The only people I know who seriously consider m-theory to be viable are philosophers and physicists. They do not hold that m-theory is true, however. Atheism does not predicate m-theory.
The reason for rejecting a fine tuner is in that it is a logical fallacy requiring unprovable assumptions.
No physicist accepts m-theory to be scientifically true. It is a conjecture posited as a thought experiment of what could be.
How you erroneously came to believe that the scientific community actually takes m-theory seriously is quite curious since it has never been validated and so I question what resources you are using to reference.
I shall now destroy your argument about the use of m-theory.
The multiverse theory is a direct consequence of string theory which is now largely regarded as an invalid theory that has not demonstrated any tangible physical theory. For this reason science considers String Theory more of a mathematical project which has produced some interesting results in that regard. As a science, it is no longer being studied seriously. Your information is 20 years outdated.
Really of course, this is all a consequence of the nature of quantum-gravity. Perhaps you should consult your preferred religious website for prepared answers to the theoretical encapsulation of information in a finite sphere? Perhaps genesis provides the necessary equations for renormalisation and divergence in quantum electrodynamics?
Despite your evident lack of education you speak out against propositional logic, basic science and its method, that you apparently know nothing about.
M-theory is only one particular theory. There are many other theories. But, if you want to understand how total reality could have ten dimensions, plus one of time, for a total of eleven dimensions, and if you want to understand why this specific, particular number of dimensions (as opposed to 8 or 23, etc), simply watch "imagining the tenth dimension" part 1 and 2.
To consider the possibility of a fine tuner would require that every other possible explanation be considered to maintain balance and eliminate bias towards one particular methodology.
As there are an infinite number of possible explanations the number of possible theories would be incalculable. So why then focus on a fine tuner out of an infinite set of possible choices providing equal amounts of evidence. Should logic and empiricism not take precedent?
Are you telling me that since there is an infinite number of possible theories with no evidence, that there's a probable chance that the fine tuner theory is incorrect?
Your not taking into consideration that there's supporting evidence that there's a fine tuner.
The fine tuning of the universe, for one.
Don't act like that there's no supporting evidence of any kind of a fine tuner, that'd be illogical. Didn't you say yourself that logic should be precedent?
There is no evidence of a fine-tuner. Consider this proposition: life originated and adapted to the established rules of nature.
This is demonstrably true. The fine-tuner idea, however, amounts to nothing but conjecture. There is no evidence.
Consider this: the principle laws of nature vary in some manner. In this situation life emerges and eventually a species attains a level of sentience. You looks back and says, there must be some fine-tuner. Only these laws could account for life.
Your "logic" presupposes that there had to be a fine-tuner because life exists without regard to other causes.
Statistically speaking, the fine-tuner is about as likely as the universe congealing out of existence from an orange. Perhaps we are all part of a computer simulation. It may explain, erroneously, how the universe operates, however, is nevertheless not falsifiable. Evidence of existence does not necessitate a fine-tuner by any measure. This is irrational and not logical.
Hang out at a Christian church sometime, best on Sunday, and ask some questions. I can guarantee you that they'll be able to answer all of your questions that concerns God. I bet you might even have some fun. ;)
What could you possibly lose by just visiting and asking questions? =)
Why a christian church? Why not a mosque or a synagogue, or a mormon temple??? Why a christian church??? The only proof of a christian god is the bible, which is full of errors and historical inaccuracies. And all the above religions have their own books, the tora and the qur´ran and the book of mormons. Why is your book better than the other books. I'll tell you why, because you where born in a christian family in a christian country. That is the only reason your christian and not muslim.
I'm surprised your attacking my belief like this. I shouldn't be though.
Your trying to push your own belief onto others, persuading to others that your correct, to make yourself feel better about your decision/choice. That, or, your interested in religion still, and your just looking for answers. (Again, church would be able to answer these questions better.)
I'm worried about your relationship with God, more than some dumb argument here on Earth.
Muslims believe the same thing as Christians, but they added another profit, which quite evil, killing off tons of people.
Muhammad then wrote the Qur'ran, claiming that God helped him.
Do you really believe God would approve of the death of tons of innocent people, if He was the same from the Christian bible? (As Muslims still believe everything a Christian does.)
Their bible approves of murder, as long as it's against someone with a different belief.
Don't just take my word for it; compare the religions yourself. =)
I'm sure you'll find Christianity most fit.
(Yes, I was raised Christian. Most friend I knew who used to be Muslim, were Muslims because they didn't fully understand what Muhammad really approved of, which he claimed he received as a message from God. After telling my friends this, they seriously think about their religion, and most change.)
This video had higher standards than other creationist videos. But it´s rather deistic than theistic in it´s argumentations.
And we have the "pointing directly to the god of the bible" at 10:10. Can someone tell me why this can´t possibly point to some other God? Perhaps Allah, Baal or Brahman?
Plus we have the "to those of you in open rebellion against your creator" at 10:20. How can I rebel against something I don´t believe in?
Ok Christians and other religious folks! Think this one out! Why have not your God tell humanity once and for all in his perfect book or books how the universe works? Why are you posting this video on youtube if your omnipotent god can probably provide you with some sort of miraculous way of communicating? After all that is the meaning of omnipotence or are we going to redefine the word ?After all the same scientific principles that apply to the science to make youtube possible apply to biology.
What a conclusion... Even if this video did somehow prove the existence of intelligent design, which of course it does not, it completely and utterly fails to mention how the giant leap is taken to assume that this intelligent designer is the God of the Bible.
What is all this baseless conspiracy theory mumbo jumbo. Why would 98% of all the worlds scientists decide to just start making up results to make it look as if there was no Biblical God involved? It's just laughable.
"The atheistic faction knows it has been devastated by the hard sciences so it is embracing unscientific fantasies and desperately defending its last stronghold in evolutionary biology by suppressing the truth, employing intimidation, propaganda and censorship."
to Christians: if you get to the bottom of this, you'll realize that the issue was never about evidence and believability at all. It's always about MORALITY issue. people deny the thought or idea of God because they don't want to be accountable to such being (like Him or not, deny or believe Him, you can't change the truth that He exists), and as someone has written it in this very thread, "My life is my own, and i'll do whatever i see it fits..." wow...
isn't that the Satanic principle the Bible was pointing out against man?
they deny God because they want to be liberated from the Person who holds everyone accountable for their actions, but their denial will never change the fact that they're still accountable--everyone is.
I wouldn't be surprise if someone will reply calling me and "idiot", etc. the blinds are blinds and they're only wise according to their own eyes.
i still don't understand why evolution and god can't be intertwined. why is so impossible that god created humans to evolve much like he created the universe to evolve? doesn't genesis say that adam was created from the dust of the earth? i love these video's but i have to say: atheists are about as thick headed as young earth creationists. i am not a christian but i do believe that a supernatural being created the big bang. is evolution so impossible that god couldn't have designed it?
Great set of videos man!!! I was hooked to my monitor for the last 40 minutes.
You are a master at editing. This must have taken you forever to do!!!! You also picked some awesome musical soundscapes. I can't think of a better way to praise Jesus and his creation.
"God created the heavens and the Earth." True statement. BUT this is only 1 statement in the Bible. Why are you assuming the entire Bible is correct? What evidence suggests the WHOLE book is the "word of God."
You would have to actually STUDY the Bible to understand all the evidence that points to Divine intervention. The simple fact that despite the Bible being THE MOST SCRUTINIZED book of all time...it remains the world's best seller. It is also the world's most translated book...420 different languages.
Creationism/Intelligent Design/Creation Science. So what are they going to name it next? Looks like they are running out of options with their desperate attempts at propping up their mythological bullshit.
Well, I'm none of those. I'm an evolutionary theist, it's forced me to reevaluate Genesis, and as a result I've understood the bible more, not less (ironically thanks to atheists).
I think if you read the bible a little more objectively eventually it will lead you to atheism. The problem I think you are having is that you are still reading it by suspending disbelief. In short, the bible is bullshit.
say what you want. I've looked at both sides of the argument; I've looked at articles on 'false' biblical prophecies as well as articles on the many hundreds of fulfilled biblical prophecies. Those who have studied the bible the most are Christians, on the other hand, there are great scientists that have gone straight from atheism to Christianity.
The only way a REAL atheist could ever become a Xtian is if they had a lobotomy. They were never atheists to begin with. If it wasn't a lobotomy then they must have had a serious blow to their heads that developed into brain damage.
Higher numbers for a belief will never turn the belief into facts. It will still be a belief. As an old saying goes: "Never underestimate stupid people in large groups."
I think this video is really onto something about the so called "fine tuning" of the universe. Let's see, we have asteroids the size of planets that will eventually come crashing down on planet earth sometime in the future; not to mention earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes and other disasters. What was the creator thinking? IF you ask me, if there is such a creature, then, he is a sorry ass excuse for an engineer and creator of anything.
How do the concepts of chance or luck, which were plainly ridiculed as mere products of atheistic excuses, fit into the choices of men and free will? Am I not correct in stating that God and Jesus Christ himself give man the choice to embrace their own faith or beliefs- which, if that holds true, then our actions themselves are as much subject to unpredictability as the origins and creation of our universe.
So then there is definitely a universe out there in which someone has created a parallel universe destroyer weapon and they could be systematically wiping out all the other universes!
We could be next!
Cmon guys, if we don't stop them, we are doomed! Call Yodah and round up the Wookies, Help us Obi-Wan!
Unicorns maybe but candy mountains wouldn't really be formed by a geological event. Evolution would very probably result in a horn on a horse like creature on a habitable planet.
I think you've got the idea about the multiverse and evolution at this point of the video, It went a bit off course after that.
Oh you miss the point - in an infinite number of universes anything at all is possible - you are putting the constraints of this universe on it. With infinite possibilities there's a universe with different chemistry and physics. So in a multiverse there could EVEN possibly be one with reasonable atheists
I'll even tell you how to do it. First, you state that, and get them to admit that, science is guided by what is observable and repeatable. Then all you have to do is ask them for the observed evidence of every claim they make. Very quickly, they will be red-faced in embaressment that they are caught with their pants down trying to pass assumptuions, presumptions, and speculations off as science.
But then, thetre's the hard way to debate, the meat of it. I like that kind too.
If you wish to continue this, which I doubt because you are a cowardly naziesque scientific illiterate, then I would suggest unblocking me.
Otherwise you have been labeled as a coward and a fascist, ignorant creationist, not worth 2 seconds of my time in an actual debate.
You are an intellectual gnat, and if you were to even start a debate with me, you would be slack jawed and stumped for a rebuttal. You would get whupped so bad your head would spin of your shoulders, little man.
You live in a bubble. I have debated to evolutionist scientists, one of which is the most outspoken paleontologist of our time. I assure you, nobody at "Panda's Thumb" either intimidates me or would give me a challenge in debate. THERE IS NO EVOLUTIONIST SCIENTIST IN THIS WORLD that i cannot make a fool of in debate in less than 10 minutes.
The bubble is called reality, you live in a fantasy world with talking snakes, global floods with vanishing water, multi-stomached rabbits that chew cud, where the earth was magically popped into existence in what archaeologists would call the agricultural era, when semi-modern man was just learning how to plant crops.
This is not the world I live in, it's yours.
Unblock my original account, or you are a coward.
Amen to this finale Cris. I particularly like the final part of your commentary in this one.
May those of us who are faithful to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, be encouraged..... and may others be encouraged to shed the attachment they have to the deception surrounding them.
""lucky us" chance of the gaps arguments - fail to impress. Atheism is the abandonment of reason and caustic to the search for truth"
You haven't grasped the concept of infinity & eternity,. If it wasn't "lucky us" this time then the chances are that it would be "lucky something else" instead. All you have done raised questions that science cannot yet answer & then used those "gaps" in our knowledge to conveniently place your god. You still have provided no proof for god.
Ok....I watched your videos to the end here as you recommended....and this is still old news. You either have no knowledge of or are ignoring the latest models, which don't include some mystical cloud being.
So by your statement....."you really fail to have a point here"
Actually your videos are quite well made but it is the content that i have a problem with. No more so than the last part where you move away from cosmology and your true colours were exposed by supporting the totally discredited & dishonest "Expelled". TOE is absolute fact and the fact that at first glance it looks like ID is clearly anything BUT ID. You then close with the old chestnut along the lines of "Jesus died for us". I bet you anything you cannot define what that means. Think about it.
That has been defined for 2000 years. It's the last sentence that describes your current position.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
Yeah and similar passages occur in the Quran to force you to believe in Allah. Words invented by man count for nothing. What you have quoted is totally baseless. It does not answer my question. How did Jesus save the world? What did he die for? The world contained evil before him and has contained evil after him. Mission not accomplished. How can you possibly believe in words attributed to Jesus and invented by men decades after the death of Jesus?. Science it aint. Proof it aint.
No there's nothing even remotely similar in the Quran.
"How can you possibly believe in words attributed to Jesus"
By the grace of God.
God created man to be fellowship with himself but man broke that fellowship and continues to do so. All of mankind is under the wrath of God. God is perfect in his justice and you will not escape his wrath by your own doing. He provided a way out - believe in his Son Jesus Christ.
Well made but incorrect content. Nobody but nobody is putting forward the idea of a multiverse as fact. WE just do not know but that is no excuse to go down the god(s) route. Fine tuning my behind. Drop a bag of sugar and the grains will settle in a never to repeated matrix but settle they will. Again defaulting to god is a mere guess. I would have liked the video to identify some of these so called proofs for ID rather than refer to a book. Extracts please.
i have already explained the flaw in fine tuning (maybe in another of your vids) but Athesim is more logical as all the other options require proof of a positive. Until one of those positives is proven be it Christianity, Islam or whatever then the negative is the natural default. We have to disbelieve unicorns until those who believe in them can provide some positive proof. Another massive assumption is that there is only one god.
then why you see creation video's?? if it frustrate you? what you want is chance everybody mind? lol crying dont help and that is exactly what you do,i don't think many people don't even want to talk to you.if you behave like this
he i want ask you some questions.don't you think its waste of time to do a hobbie you don't like?and why it border you that people think differently then you? why you do care? if people for example believe in space aliens and the make video's,do you care then? I think you dont like creation video is that the believe in a God and that mean we are responsible for our own actions in life and we will be judged for before Lord God?
and what if you are wrong about God?(i now he exist)but what if he exist? and you will be judge when your die? better do some great thing in your life have some fun,you will regret when you are in hell, most terrible thing for people in hell is that the don't have to be there, that Jesus have gave you his free gift of salvation.and what if you are right?(i now you don't) do you think you can chance people mind about creation?what is the win for you? that the meby think that evolution is the truth?
relay if you relay don't want to believe in a God then do some things what you like before you die.hope you give your life to Jesus,in the future.i now he exist my experiment whit the lord was the most wonderful thing in my life.well that's all i want to say to you,cya and have great life!
Dozens of parameters are just right for life to exist on this planet. For example, if the Earth were just a little closer to the Sun it would be too hot and the oceans water would boil away, much further and it would be covered continually in ice. Earths circular orbit (to maintain a roughly constant temperature year-round), its rotation speed (to provide days and nights not too long or short), its tilt (to provide seasons), ---
It is not guilt or fear of acknowledging God is real.

Think for yourself people
Baddassattuide 1 year ago
There are loads of crap, and then there are videos like this. Its a funny way to spend a few minutes listening to someone talk about something they have no idea about, but at a point it gets pretty annoying. For instance, that part where he quotes Francis Crick and calls it brainwashing. Yeah, contradict yourself much? Nothing about brainwashing in the bible...
Its cute that you think you can play with the big boy scientists, but just make sure you keep your crap on youtube and out of our way.

Evolution is a part of Biology, a science. It has nothing to do with atheists.

Ye4hBuddy 1 year ago
@Ye4hBuddy Way to be scientific. Good job. Nothing like rejecting the learned wisdom and efforts of hundreds of physicists, chemists, biologists, and even philosophers who actually seek truth and to their dismay- sometimes find it.
Why don't you watch the videos in all parts to better educate yourself on what to research so you can fight us pea brained Christians. Ya know, fight the enemy of ignorance through knowledge? Part of that is knowing the science behind such ignorant theories, no?
cavscout1983 1 year ago
@cavscout1983 These are classic Creationist/Intelligent Design arguments. Essentially what happens is: Science proves something, then Creationists say "Well how did that happen?", then Science proves that, then Creationists say "Well how did that happen?", and the cycle continues. It's extremely childish. It is comparable to a kid asking something, then constantly asking "Why?". There is no end. It is quite annoying how incessant Creation "science" is.
Ye4hBuddy 1 year ago
@Ye4hBuddy the last bit of your reply would be more accurate and apropos if it read as follows: "It is comparable to a kid asking something, then constantly asking "Why?". There is no end. It is quite annoying how incessant "science" is."
Why, answer, why, answer, why- is the basis of science. If you're not asking "why", you're drinking someone else's kool-aid.
I research these things as I can, within my own scientific understanding, because it would be insulting to God to NOT ask why.
cavscout1983 1 year ago
@cavscout1983 Actually, if you would ask "Why" about your God, then you would come to the same conclusion as I have. There is absolutely no evidence for a God, therefore it is a reasonable conclusion to say that there is no God. Also, Creation "science" is the complete rejection of most of the scientific principles we have today. Creation "science" has a conclusion it wants to be right, so then it morphs information to make it seem correct, when in reality the observations it uses are false.
Ye4hBuddy 1 year ago
@cavscout1983 Science does ask 'why'. But to say 'God dun it' will not get you no answers.

@cavscout1983 ID is not science. Science is what scientists do, and they don't do ID. It lost in court.

"Now you've got 'em pegged brother! So true! 1:35- "The essence of atheism is:- They fear personal acountability to God."
How can an atheist fear personal accountability to God if he/she doesn't believe in a God?
watsisname 1 year ago
@watsisname I didn't elaborate 'coz there's no room here, but it's found in the mind. Subconsciously understanding that there is proof everywhere (right in our faces) of the God that created life. The conscious mind refuses to believe in it. Mostly because of the hypocrisy of the churches who are turning people with a sound mind, smart people, into atheists. The cause of the contention here is the fact that subconsciously, atheists do believe!
The real fight is with the hypocrisy of the church!
sthnwatch 1 year ago
@sthnwatch
watsisname 1 year ago
@watsisname "...a completely laughable claim". That's just an opinion. The relation of faith in God the creator to faith in a ridiculous notion about "teapots" & proof of the two concepts stupid.Faith is required in God because He's mysterious.Proof of what is claimed about Him is everywhere!
Perhaps you need to look into the relationship between the subconscious & the conscious. Hmm?
I seem to have gone over your head. All your interested in is opinions & contentious talk.

A theory of multiple universes actually EXPLAINS something.
A white bearded guy in the cloud that says: "Here comes the fine-tuning" DOES NOT.
Both are theories, but only one of them actually gives additional information, reducing questions.

@trakkaton How is the multiple universe theory real science??? The obvious fact is that it is just a fairy tale made up by atheist/evolutionist. Creationism isn't a theory, but a indisputable fact. I, and the consensus of geologists, physicists, and astronomers, dispute creationism. Therefore creationism is disputable.

The film did not honestly present their actual positions or reasons for being discharged.
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
Fine tuning is not falsifiable. It requires a fine tuner explained outside of natural means and is supernatural and therefore may not be defined. There is absolutely no evidence of fine tuning in the universe.
Go ahead, name one anyone who reads this.
Fine tuning is not required. We are the product of nature and only now are looking back and saying that it must have been tuned for our existence. This is fallacious reasoning.
1 in 10^120? Where did this number come from?
Quote Mining!
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
The argument that atheists fear personal accountability to God is inherently flawed since atheists don't believe in God.
Again, m-theory is a hypothesis. It may be true, it may be not. Evolution is almost overwhelmingly decidedly true.
Fallacy: supposing that the universe is finely tuned requires a fine tuner allowing for the injection of ones chosen designer.
The formation of the planet is explained under "conventional" physical and chemical laws.
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
The reason why evolution is credited over creationism is because there is extremely strong tangible evidence and practical applications of the theory of evolution.
Though m-theory is posited as a hypothesis, the theory of evolution is a sound scientific theory which explains the observed natural phenomena of nature without having to ascribe to supernatural irrationality. It has demonstrated itself to be extremely reliable and is considered to be fact in the same manner as the theory of gravity.
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
Multiverse theory was posited as a possible explanation and has never been proven. This is why multiverse theory is not a scientific theory.
Furthermore, the assertion that multiverse theory is directly or implicitly attributed to atheism is nonsensical. Faith in God and multiverse theory are not mutually exclusive unless you define it to be so. Discrediting m-theory does not discredit atheism. Atheism, is after all, defined as the lack of belief in the supernatural. Its a form of skepticism.
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago

We should be careful who we follow.

Another epic fail by a creationist.
This guy has no idea about physics.
Read a book.
You showed no, absolutely no proof of a creator.
And you got everything about physics wrong.
What facts???? You keep mentioning the facts, by you don't show even one fact for a creator. If you argue that you have facts to support your theories then SHOW the facts, just repeatedly stating you have facts doesn't prove anything.
If this is the best you can do, it's pathetic and in fact your proving atheists right.
baldurus1 2 years ago
"Epic fail"? (Interesting grammar you have there.)
The point of these videos ("Creation is a Scientific Fact") wasn't as much to prove that God was real, as much as He is, but to prove that atheism was less supportable. (Despite the miss-leading title.)
Everything that he's talked about that's relative to physics, he's gotten from scientists, and even stated who said it. So, what your really stating, is that those scientists are wrong. ;)
FBIRyan 2 years ago
Honestly are you going to use the grammar card, the red card all intellectually challenged use.
You might want to go over your own writings before you pull the grammar cards on others.
And the "scientists" he referred to where Ben Stein and other ID "scientists", not real scientists.
baldurus1 2 years ago
He doesn't prove atheists right, anywhere.
FBIRyan 2 years ago
on faith.
FBIRyan 2 years ago
No, Atheism does not demand any faith.

Why would you worship a god from a book you know is incorrect?
baldurus1 2 years ago
I haven't seen the Bible ever wrong. ;)
And if it was, it was probably miss-understood.
You say it's been debunked, back it up. =P

This is but one example.

I've had talks like this so many times.
FBIRyan 2 years ago
@FBIRyan
The reason for rejecting a fine tuner is in that it is a logical fallacy requiring unprovable assumptions.
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
"The reason for rejecting a fine tuner is in that it is a logical fallacy requiring unprovable assumptions."
And the M-Theory isn't?
FBIRyan 2 years ago
@FBIRyan
No physicist accepts m-theory to be scientifically true. It is a conjecture posited as a thought experiment of what could be.
How you erroneously came to believe that the scientific community actually takes m-theory seriously is quite curious since it has never been validated and so I question what resources you are using to reference.
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
@FBIRyan
It is an abstraction.
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
@FBIRyan

I suppose upon reflection my comments were presumptuous and for that I am sorry.
I must stress, however, that you should not ridicule nor comment to the veracity of concepts that you know nothing about.
Do read the previous few comments that I had left. It will probably give you a better science education than your secondary school will.
It would seem that I was a bit carried away.
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
M-theory is only one particular theory. There are many other theories. But, if you want to understand how total reality could have ten dimensions, plus one of time, for a total of eleven dimensions, and if you want to understand why this specific, particular number of dimensions (as opposed to 8 or 23, etc), simply watch "imagining the tenth dimension" part 1 and 2.
IsLikeThat 1 year ago
@FBIRyan
Should logic and empiricism not take precedent?
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
Are you telling me that since there is an infinite number of possible theories with no evidence, that there's a probable chance that the fine tuner theory is incorrect?
Your not taking into consideration that there's supporting evidence that there's a fine tuner.
The fine tuning of the universe, for one.
Don't act like that there's no supporting evidence of any kind of a fine tuner, that'd be illogical. Didn't you say yourself that logic should be precedent?
FBIRyan 2 years ago
@FBIRyan
Only these laws could account for life.
mastersausagemaker 2 years ago
@FBIRyan

FBIRyan 2 years ago
Why a christian church? Why not a mosque or a synagogue, or a mormon temple??? Why a christian church??? The only proof of a christian god is the bible, which is full of errors and historical inaccuracies. And all the above religions have their own books, the tora and the qur´ran and the book of mormons. Why is your book better than the other books. I'll tell you why, because you where born in a christian family in a christian country. That is the only reason your christian and not muslim.
baldurus1 2 years ago
I'm surprised your attacking my belief like this. I shouldn't be though.
Your trying to push your own belief onto others, persuading to others that your correct, to make yourself feel better about your decision/choice. That, or, your interested in religion still, and your just looking for answers. (Again, church would be able to answer these questions better.)
I'm worried about your relationship with God, more than some dumb argument here on Earth.
FBIRyan 2 years ago
Why a Christian church, instead of Muslim?
Muslims believe the same thing as Christians, but they added another profit, which quite evil, killing off tons of people.
Muhammad then wrote the Qur'ran, claiming that God helped him.
Do you really believe God would approve of the death of tons of innocent people, if He was the same from the Christian bible? (As Muslims still believe everything a Christian does.)
Their bible approves of murder, as long as it's against someone with a different belief.
FBIRyan 2 years ago

Sorry, the "pointing directly to the god of the bible" is at 10:00 not 10:10.

It's just laughable.

to Christians: if you get to the bottom of this, you'll realize that the issue was never about evidence and believability at all. It's always about MORALITY issue. people deny the thought or idea of God because they don't want to be accountable to such being (like Him or not, deny or believe Him, you can't change the truth that He exists), and as someone has written it in this very thread, "My life is my own, and i'll do whatever i see it fits..." wow...
nailed2save 2 years ago
isn't that the Satanic principle the Bible was pointing out against man?
they deny God because they want to be liberated from the Person who holds everyone accountable for their actions, but their denial will never change the fact that they're still accountable--everyone is.
I wouldn't be surprise if someone will reply calling me and "idiot", etc. the blinds are blinds and they're only wise according to their own eyes.

Creationism/Intelligent Design/Creation Science. So what are they going to name it next? Looks like they are running out of options with their desperate attempts at propping up their mythological bullshit.
nogogma 2 years ago
Well, I'm none of those. I'm an evolutionary theist, it's forced me to reevaluate Genesis, and as a result I've understood the bible more, not less (ironically thanks to atheists).
the5y5tem 2 years ago
I think if you read the bible a little more objectively eventually it will lead you to atheism. The problem I think you are having is that you are still reading it by suspending disbelief. In short, the bible is bullshit.
nogogma 2 years ago
say what you want.

Oh you miss the point - in an infinite number of universes anything at all is possible - you are putting the constraints of this universe on it.

Think about it.
pilgrimpater 3 years ago
That has been defined for 2000 years. It's the last sentence that describes your current position.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
bigwhammyRocks 3 years ago
Yeah and similar passages occur in the Quran to force you to believe in Allah. Words invented by man count for nothing. What you have quoted is totally baseless. It does not answer my question. How did Jesus save the world? What did he die for? The world contained evil before him and has contained evil after him. Mission not accomplished. How can you possibly believe in words attributed to Jesus and invented by men decades after the death of Jesus?. Science it aint. Proof it aint.
pilgrimpater 3 years ago
No there's nothing even remotely similar in the Quran.
"How can you possibly believe in words attributed to Jesus"
By the grace of God.
God created man to be fellowship with himself but man broke that fellowship and continues to do so. All of mankind is under the wrath of God. God is perfect in his justice and you will not escape his wrath by your own doing. He provided a way out - believe in his Son Jesus Christ.
bigwhammyRocks 3 years ago
Well made but incorrect content. Nobody but nobody is putting forward the idea of a multiverse as fact. WE just do not know but that is no excuse to go down the god(s) route. Fine tuning my behind. Drop a bag of sugar and the grains will settle in a never to repeated matrix but settle they will. Again defaulting to god is a mere guess. I would have liked the video to identify some of these so called proofs for ID rather than refer to a book. Extracts please.
pilgrimpater 3 years ago
Defaulting to atheism is absurd in light of the nature of the anthropic principle and the fine tuning of the universe.
bigwhammyRocks 3 years ago
i have already explained the flaw in fine tuning (maybe in another of your vids) but Athesim is more logical as all the other options require proof of a positive. Until one of those positives is proven be it Christianity, Islam or whatever then the negative is the natural default. We have to disbelieve unicorns until those who believe in them can provide some positive proof. Another massive assumption is that there is only one god.
