I saw this video, I spent about an hour searching for it, I found it on google, watched it until four-thirty in the morning, and I cried. So amazing and emotional...thank you so much for posting! Changed my life forever I have to go recommend this love story to every living soul I know!
Beautifully put together! This is one of the only films I can honestly say I've cried at, and now everytime I watch it I can only get through about half an hour before I start sobbing. It's such a lovely film, but it's so heartbreaking. I've never hated a fictional character as much as I hate Burke and Nathan's dad, Harland. Amazing video!
Also, for those who like reading novels, I highly suggest reading this book by Jim Grimsley. I have read many books, and no other book--none--has created such an emotional and spiritual impact as Dream Boy.
How Roy and Nathan's hands glide over each other is the sensual and memorable effect in this film. When the two engage each other on the bed for the first time while studying is one of my favorite scenes, which is why I included it in my video.

just watched this movie and im still crying :'( this is so sad. a boy who is treated like that for all his life and then to be ended that way made me sob so bad. even as i write this tears roll down my cheek. this movie teaches me that you should never take anyone for granted... esp someone you love so look after them. i know i will... :(

True, I watch Romeo and Juliet, knowing how it ends. But I so identify with the characters in Dream Boy that I think it would be too painful.

@alwaysuseless Thanks my friend. The music in this case is the original music and song composed for the movie. So no wonder that fits like a glove. It's true, "Dream Boy" isn't a happy or optimistic story, but nevertheless is one of the latest milestones in gay themed cinema. I just with that ended differentely, I recall how pissed I was the first time I saw it (I didn't knew anything about the book or the movie then) but in time... has become one of my top gtm movies ever. I just wished the ending could have been a little happier, but my true hope is that Brad doesn't get away with what he did, but ends up in a place where a pretty face and hot bod like his will get him the same kind of attention. The boys performances are among the most touching, tender, sexy and romantic I've seen in my entire life. I share your thoughts about Brad. What a shame being so gorgeous and at the same time a little excuse for a human being. He would need to prove his own medicine, it would problably help him to see the light and came "out" as a good person. xxx

@2304sarah1 Another jewel of recent gay cinema. The book it's such a gem too. Wonderful cinematography, wonderful script and nice music. Stephan & Max do such a wonderful job! The ending it's quite harsh but also magical. And it is totally open in the book and the film.

As I'm sure I've said many times before - I love this film - and I would also recommend the book, whether you've already seen the movie or not!
I can't say I totally understand the story - in particular the ending - but the love between these two very different boys is always a joy to watch.
